I think he just grew up. You start finding yourself in your early twenties right? He find who he wanted to be and put himself in that path in a non confrontational way. It’s a shame that people are so bug shit crazy these days, because it was a rational, reasonable idea and path.

Okay so how could he protest in a way that simultaneously got people talking about the issue while also not at all noticing him? Do you listen to your own thoughts before you let them loose on the world, or are you just uninhibited by any sense of fear that people will think you’re a Goddamn moron?

There’s still going to be a lot of morons convinced his “publicity scheme” backfired, hurr hurr. But of course, these are the same morons that object to racism being decried while pretending to just be decent, God-fearing folk (always just a torch, pitchfork, and an excuse away from monstrousness).

Yep, you’re spot on with that recollection. He did literally almost everything he could have done to be respectful, and was still accused of being a “Soros supported, muslim loving, no good lazy ass paid protester, and all of his supposed “School visits in Africa or charity donations” are all faked for paid publicity.”

Yes. He was protesting respectfully, and then went out of his way to find an even more respectful way to protest. He was very classy about the whole thing. I think that’s one of the reasons so many people are confused and don’t know how to properly react, so they just go with ignorant hatred. It’s a very popular

Personally, (and I guess this needs to be said) I supported Kaepernick’s decision to not stand as a form of protest. It was subtle, poignant, and about as far away from “attention seeking” as one can get. Honestly, the only reason it got so much media coverage was because people who disagreed with him wouldn’t shut up

Didn’t he only start kneeling after people noticed and said his sitting was disrespectful so he asked some veterans what he could do and they suggested kneeling? I thought I read that at some point.

One begins to surmise that his critics aren’t actually offended by the method of protest, but by the act of protesting itself.*

Exactly. The idea that someone sitting quietly—SITTING QUIETLY—is trying to draw attention to themselves has always struck me as supremely silly.

Originally, he just sat during the anthem and no one noticed.

“It’s not that he’s protesting, it’s just the WAY he’s protesting”

than a guy who once was a few botched playcalls away from winning the Super Bowl

God, damn. The theme of 2017 is apparently “how the fuck is it that we still need to discuss this?”

The only possible way of damaging a fuel pump when racing is repeatedly racing with very little fuel in the tank. This prolonged use with little cooling can theoretically can stress the pump from heat. Of course the same habit in street use would cook it just the same. Fuel pumps are on or off. What the engine does

Boxers, and a CVT Pathfinder?

Jesus Christ. This woman is doing it right. Driving the car for what it’s intended. Marketing the fuck out of both it and herself. AND improving her skills in a driver’s car.

LOL “bigger screen experience.” you have very little knowledge about technology in general don’t you?

Lol. What? Steam: It’s pretty fucking simple.

gorillas are not bigger than tigers. again, i direct you to the highly-researched, very bulletproof list above.
