MCU Cap engages exclusively in heteronormative activity on screen. I see what you’re talking about and I want more of it - but as of 11/30/2017, the count of thirteen stands.

I guess you must have, they had plenty of hot Homeland on Anvil action.
I still loved the fuzzy blues guitar every episode and I don’t care if that marks me as a tired old man.
Billy was a terrorist she was chasing - he was literally part of the death squad Madani was after the whole time.
No, absolutely not. First, Iron Man, Ant-Man, and Star-Lord would have been on no one’s list of Marvel’s most compelling male characters. The MCU has free reign to reinvent any character they use - plenty of the folks we see on screen bear little resemblance to the comic book version, so you don’t have to wait for a…
People have told the story of Rivera’s early career before - Rachel Maddow actually did a long piece last year or the year before that included a fair bit of that background. It’s not secret. At this point, though, Rivera has been actively and aggressively making journalism worse for so many decades that he has erased…
Just had to point out that “I regret that my shame is now shared by the people I cherish dearly” is literally “I’m sorry I got caught”
I can think of a lot of comics that take place during war and/or feature veteran characters, but nothing that comes to mind that comes anywhere near what this TV show did in terms of weaving together multiple veteran experiences and bringing a little reality to the bonds (and contrasts) between veterans and the divide…
Thirteen.
Counterpoint: Crossbones, Rhino, Nebula (in the first film)...
Nat: No, he’s out - I’m just a co-worker now.
Thanos has some excellent henchmen, hopefully they get to show off a little and not just be dramatic costumes.
Are we not counting Come And Get Your Love?
I love Five Guys, but it probably helps that I always take the sack back to my bus and eat there. For carry out, it’s a pleasant enough environment.
I consider the Netflix shows to have proven themselves a bigger league than the films, so it’s more a case of letting Evans graduate as far as I’m concerned.
Agreed, with the qualifier that the writing/directing is quite good, possibly the best of the Netflix MCU (JJ wins on theme, but Punisher is the best and smartest action thriller of them). The disparity is most pronounced with underserved characters like Curtis and Madani.
Dissent on Trump’s motive - It’s clear that he doesn’t actually want the tepid acceptance of the majority, preferring the full throated enthusiasm of one particular fringe. Businesses like the Trump brand don’t need a majority of the public, preferring a loyal customer base.
The one Season is self-contained and enough if they want to leave it here - but I generally prefer Castle as a foil to the nonlethal vigilantes, and I would completely support a Punisher Season 2 that had one or more of The Defenders or possibly even Evans as Cap/Nomad (I know it’s not going to happen, but I can say…
I see nothing wrong with Frank killing Fisk or Fisk killing Frank. That’s one great difference between these television shows and the comics - since these actors won’t play these roles forever, the characters are not immortal.
I hardly noticed MEM in her first appearance a few episodes a go, but she makes a big impression here and Siede is right to put a spotlight on her. She establishes herself as the big boss who could go for or against Frank, and that makes a real difference, since it now matters again what Frank does and how he does it.
