I don’t know that much about the differences/commonalities between Romany Gypsies and Irish/British Travelling communities, but aren’t the Romany people of color with roots in India?  That seems like a pretty basic fact to get tripped up on, although I’m sure that there is discrimination in Europe against both groups.
