I've seen a handful of really mater of fact differentiations between G+, FB, and Twitter. I tend to agree with them and they go something like this.

You forgot to mention a con for iTunes. It updates constantly in an obtrusive manner and I have to keep updating Quicktime with it, and they keep wanting me to download Safari and something else as well. End of the world? No. Annoying as hell? Yes.
This nothing to do with GMusic, but I listened to The Score while I was painting our guest room a couple of weekends back. That album is so good. It had to be one of the best I had in high school.
Without having intimate knowledge of the deal, I have to assume it has to do with licensing. I'm sure the agreement with the record labels only allows Goog to make music available to users in the US.
My problem was that it always took me a little longer to get ready than I thought it would. For example, collecting all my crap for my soccer game always took longer than I anticipated so I never left myself enough time and I always left late.
There's something that strikes me as off about having 100 rules on how to use something that is supposed to be as simple as 144 characters.
This doesn't meet your free criteria and not sure it will meet your cheap criteria, but I wanted to highlight Photoshop Elements for people wanting to do photo editing. There isn't a great deal Elements can't do that full Photoshop can, that a hobbyist or serious amateur would need.
I have a love hate relationship with my guitar. I love music, but can't sing for crap, so I want to learn the guitar. I was taking lessons and really enjoyed playing when I was learning and progressing noticeably, but I had to stop lessons and my learning has stalled significantly since I stopped the lessons.
I finally used Anisedora last night, and loved it. It's a Chrome extension highlighted on LH a while back ([lifehacker.com]) that enables you to play Pandora without having a tab open at all.
I recently saw a thread on here that talked about using Lubuntu for low powered comps or netbooks. I'm currently using Ubuntu dual-booted with WinXP on my netbook, but I want to check out Lubuntu.
In Atlanta and DC, the rule is pretty much don't get run over and be alert at all times. If you're not accustomed to driving there, it can seem completely chaotic and without rules. My experience has been more like thatwasbrilliant's.
I've never tried to troubleshoot something like that before. Is there a diagnostic tool of some sort that can be used to try to sort out whether it's the card or the monitor?
Is the thinking that videos such as this will "turn the pixels back on?" I've just never heard of this before, but I'm definitely willing to try to save some dough if I can. I know my wife would be really happy about that.
Need a little help. My monitor just developed a bright red line of pixels going from top to bottom just left of center, which is mildly annoying to say the least. I haven't looked at monitors in ages—I think the one I have now is about 6-7 years old—and don't really even know where to start to find a replacement.
You're absolutely going to get different results between running inside and running outside. Just for context, I'm in my early 30s and I'm still pretending that I can play soccer in an adult league. I try to keep a minimal level of fitness so I don't hurt myself. I'm not a medical professional or athletic trainer…
I agree and disagree with you on this. I think if a ton of people leave FB for G+ that will be the case, but I wonder if that many people that would leave thoughtless short posts would be inclined to join G+ b/c of the kind of culture that is established there.
This is the system I advocate, but with a slight adjustment. It's either six months or a season for me. If I go through a season without wearing something that should be worn in that season, i.e. a coat in winter, then it's probably not going to get worn and should go.
Happened to me. Here's your Jump to Conclusions mat.
All of ours are musically themed.
LH etiquette question: If you start a thread and you get really helpful responses from several people, how do you typically show gratitude to all of them. I feel like if I click on the reply to one of them, it's not appropriately showing love to all, and if I click to reply to my original post it's...showing…
