Or Double Indemnity—-the original Body Heat

John Goodman marries Phylicia Rashad after both of their spouses die in explosions. The Conner and Huxtable families merge Brady Bunch style.

I agree with the back half, and disagree with the first

If you didn’t like the original, there’s a good chance you won’t like the sequel. But every character has a development arc. The friggin’ Mantis character has an arc. For my money the soundtrack is better (I’m the animal who hated the original soundtrack, but fuck that. If I hear Spirit in the Sky one more time I’m

A lot of my friends didn’t like GotG2, and I think it was possibly the best of the Marvel movies. The character development was phenomenal, the story moved along. They even got away with one of the things I usually hate: A god like villain. I don’t know if it’s a toxic masculinity thing where a lot of the fans don’t

I don’t know if there’s something wrong with me, but I do not care about this goddamn movie, and it’s what my friends want to watch, so I’m going to end up seeing it regardless. I don’t care what happens to Captain America or Iron Man.

Yea, I’m almost 100% sure this is in Miami Beach off of around 16th St and collins right next to the Walgreens and the Ritz.

Like, I feel like I’ve known all of this all along - gotten creepy vibes from a million + one men, famous and otherwise, and when I talked about it, people (men mostly, but not all) either shrugged or questioned my

I just watched that clip today. Skip to 2:59:

I was deeply creeped out by Ren and Stimpy even as a child. I mostly watched it because my friends did. My mom, who was still in her twenties and hosting parties like all the time, didn’t like it and didn’t like me watching it. And that’s the first run of the show.

It’s not just your memory. I’ve seen the clip you’re talking about (or one similar to it) and he is a total creep. At one point he goes up to a woman (I think she was an animator?) hugs her and calls her “our resident milf.” She just kind of smiles uncomfortably. Super gross.

IRON MAN: Where’s Hawkeye at? Where’s the archer, Cap?

THE MECHANIC is a fun flick of its type, but I think that’s due to Bronson, Vincent, and the pulpy script more than the direction.

I think Krull cost more to make than Return Of The Jedi.
