I’m amused so many have ignored my full post and have gone with the “sound” element in responding.

Driven Mercedes, Audis, Cadillacs, Jaguars, Alfa Romeos, and Lexus over the years.

Living in a large city, I didn’t need the performance model. Regardless, the car has an acceleration that is incredibly good.

Where it felt short though is that beyond the power delivery and the really nice steering, the rest of the car did not feel like a $60k car.

The Model 3 interior is just so awful, though.

I hear you. Brag wasn’t the right word.

it’s like bragging about an Apple Watch to mechanical watch enthusiasts, because you don’t like the ticking sound.

I think you can be a Jalopnik and like electric cars, but I’m not sure you can be a Jalopnik and not like engine sounds. Heck, it wasn’t long ago we were arguing about whether one can be a Jalopnik and not drive a stick.

Kind of a funny typo given the QC criticisms of the Model 3.

If you don’t like the way an internal combustion engines sound, I don’t think anybody needs to take your opinions about a Corvette very seriously. Why are you here?

Opinions are what they are: To each their own!

What about it is making you smile like an idiot, though?

Now I’m a little less excited about having to run my ICE car in the future.

The Model 3 changes everything.

Oh it makes sense and I like the idea a lot but at the same time I’m totally fine with what we got. Robert Patrick played bland looking white police officer perfectly and I wouldn’t have it any other way

I’ve never heard that (Micheal Biehn playing the T-1000) before. That would have been sweet.

I can confirm that T2 works FLAWLESSLY to enact that twist if you hadn’t seen the trailers or any other information about it.

to me, this feels more like a gimmick to get people talking and interested in the movie - to create buzz - rather than a new direction for the titular character

Regarding the John Boorman/Lee Marvin Point Blank: Anyone else feel that this movie was a very clever ghost story?
