How could you forget who killed Apollo Creed, and forced Rocky to go to Russia and win the Cold War?
(Civil War) was so bad, painfully rushed and poorly executed bad. Every scene has a plot hole, it is infuriating to watch. It is like they wrote two scripts for two very different movies and tried to make them fit into each other.
Screw it, I loved the movie.
Based on what you say about GotG2, I may have to give it a look after all. Note: I genuinely HATED the original GotG and, yes, I realize I’m in a very, very small minority when it comes to that opinion. I felt the film was a complete waste and could well be at the bottom of my list of Marvel films I’ve seen.
I don’t know if there’s something wrong with me, but I do not care about this goddamn movie
Whoops! Just read the comment above. You saw this in Ca? I swear there is a near twin here in Miami Beach!
Saw it there too, by the Walgreens on Lincoln Road, no?
They’re also having a pretty damn good sale on EC archive books. But I really hope this appears on Amazon... Maybe its my OCD but I prefer to have all my books together under one system and with Comixology, sometimes the stuff appears under Kindle, sometimes it doesn’t.

I feel like I’ve been saying something like this since #metoo really picked up steam. Like, I feel like I’ve known all of this all along - gotten creepy vibes from a million + one men, famous and otherwise, and when I talked about it, people (men mostly, but not all) either shrugged or questioned my…
I just watched that clip today. Skip to 2:59:
I was deeply creeped out by Ren and Stimpy even as a child.
I’ve seen the clip you’re talking about (or one similar to it) and he is a total creep. At one point he goes up to a woman (I think she was an animator?) hugs her and calls her “our resident milf.” She just kind of smiles uncomfortably. Super gross.
Oh goddammit. I loved “Ren & Stimpy.” On the other hand, am I surprised that the man who made it is a goddamn pervert? Oh hell no.
Man, this shit just writes itself... ;-)
So, a typical NYC street-crossing interaction, the sort of which happens literally every day here, then..? Got it.
THE MECHANIC is a fun flick of its type, but I think that’s due to Bronson, Vincent, and the pulpy script more than the direction.
And while the original’s director, Michael Winner, made his fair share of loathsome entertainments, I don’t know any “mainstream” director who has made more films I find repellent than Roth.
I think Krull cost more to make than Return Of The Jedi
Excalibur is a B-movie?
