Yeah, dark green was the color. Again, I liked it, though being about 6 foot 2 inches, having to compact yourself into that car did become a bit of a drag during the times I drove it. However, I was a glutton for punishment as around that time I had an Alfa Romeo Spider. Loved that car, even now, though driving a

Ok, did a quick google search for images and this is probably as close to what my father’s Stealth looked like (color is right and it had the wing on the back... not sure of the wheels):

Stealth > 3000GT

I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a Spellcheck/autocorrect type error/thing that resulted in that headline but...

I kind of think of curling like an icier golf... A finesse and precision game coming down to millimeters

Your memory serves you well, however, the character did come from a military background (marines, I think). So he definitely knows how to handle a weapon.

When the president starts doing racist impersonations of Asian people, demanding everyone pay attention to them at all times, and says the absolute wrong thing at the wrong time, will Jack Ryan look at the camera and shrug?

Was coming on to point out this video, which pretty forcefully proves there was cheating involved here.

So the bulk of his character superiority comes from all those things he can do - take them away, and you just have a regular wimpy guy. Give them back and you still have that regular wimpy guy, just now he’s super-powerful again. Yikes.

I get what you’re all saying about the diner scene, but lose it and we lose “I’ve been...” *mimics wieght lifting* “...working out”

Donner was very, very proud of the whole trucker/diner scene. He tells a story in the commentary about how a critic at the time wrongly credited that scene to Lester and used it as an example of why Lester was the superiour choice to finish the movie. He was still incensed about that.

I loved both films when they originally came out but I agree with you that Superman II, the theatrical cut, simply hasn’t aged as well as the original.

The only thing wrong with Bullitt is people going in to it expecting an action flick when it isn’t one. It’s a very good detective/suspense movie

nobody peed on anything 44 years ago when I learned it.

I’m a guy and I certainly have NO problem with films featuring all female cast... and I too would watch the living hell out of a female version of Die Hard.

Goes to show how times have changed: I recall seeing, waaaaay back when, a Dolphin game and as the game was drawing close to its end, Dan Marino was hit pretty damn hard and taken out for one snap of the ball.

Ah! Ya entiendo. ;-)

Yeah, definitely nauseating. I love music in almost all forms, but a 24/7 live musical in my home - that’s a relationship deal breaker.

It might be “kinda cute” for all of ten seconds, after that, it would get real old, real fast.

Todos los mexicanos que viven en Estados Unidos deberían de encomendarse a la virgencita (aparte de que porque hoy es su día) para que no gane Moore. Gracias.
