I had a Mercedes rental car do this to me on the M40 a couple of weeks ago. Nobody around - early morning - it slammed on the brakes hard enough that the ABS kicked in.

Demand and supply. If people wouldn’t keep shopping at WalMart.......
His thought process:
Haha. Yeah - that would be a first. We both know that the instant you leave enough room, someone else pulls in and fills the gap. :D
I like long replies. :)
1st gear : China are laughing at us. They’re going to sit back, let Cinnamon Hitler destroy our economy, and then re-start negotiations with whoever comes after him, assuming his successor is a functioning adult. All you need to understand is that Chump doesn’t give a flying fuck about anyone or anything other than…
If the cats aren’t using the litter box it’s probably for a reason. Deal with that and the problem will go away. Most likely they don’t like the self-cleaning mechanism or were spooked by it once and won’t use the box as a result.

Fuck I wish Honda would bring that back. I had one and loved it. Only got rid of it because the engine was just w-a-y too underpowered. Yes the engine was OK in the Accord that it came from, but in a vehicle that weighed more and had the aerodynamics of a tower block, it was appalling. Especially when you live in Utah…
This is the UK meaning that car is likely going to somewhere in Dubai. There will be a transport box truck within a mile of where that was stolen. They are sound-insulated trucks normally with signal-blocking elements (like a mobile faraday cage). Cars are stolen to order for the middle east. Saw this a lot when I…
Important note for people wanting to switch. About the most important value you need to pay attention to is “Flow Rate / Rise”

Keep it simple and add lightness.
Again - too much analysis. All you need to know is that “if Obama touched it, Cinnamon Hitler is going to try to undo it”. That is quite literally as much thought as he has put into this. There doesn’t need to be consensus, or scientific backing, or studies, or any semblance of reality to any of his decisions. It’s…
We’re a bit backwards here in SLC. We don’t have tiered rates - at least not for households. (for businesses yet). When I lived in Europe 20+ years ago, cheap electricity was at night so all the dishwashers and washing machines had built-in timers so you could make them run in the middle of the night.
With more EVs hitting the road and the advent of electric trucks, I’m wondering what different countries are planning for their electricity generation and distribution infrastructure. The already-stressed national grid systems are going to get more and more load as people transition from dino juice to electric.
Don’t Rely On The CarFax
One thing’s for sure. The hybrid turbo era has completely destroyed the audio aspect of F1. When you attend a race now, it’s a goddamn embarrassment that the Porsche Cup cars running in the support series are louder and more entertaining to listen to than the F1 cars.
Sorry about SLC. We’re currently building a new rental car place so that should solve that issue.
Hands down the Chevy Equinox LT. That piece of shit couldn’t get out of it’s own way. Rented one to drive from SLC to Vegas. The thing is so wheezy and so under-powered that it spent most of the time in 5th gear. Whenever we hit a gradient (and there’s a lot of them on I-15 on this route), it would drop down to 4th,…
