But isn't it a bit early to start judging it that way? All we've really seen is the wilderness area; the cities may be just as grimdark as the previous games. Just because Conner thinks his fight is for freedom doesn't mean it actually is. I'm just saying, this is just a 3 minute snippet of a 20 hour (or so) game; I

So does the setting and genre of the game count for nothing? Just because some other games covered the "rah rah" stuff previously shouldn't mean that no one else should; especially when the setting is so different from those games.

I doubt it will, mainly because you aren't the only one saying it and it seems a lot of people are tired of hearing it. Personally, I find it a silly way of looking at the game, but maybe that's just me.

Not that I believe that's "what they have going on," but why is the "AMERICA, FUCK YEAH" thing bad? I mean, did anyone have a problem when it was ITALY, FUCK YEAH or JERUSALEM, FUCK YEAH?

Genius!! 30 seconds of unskippable warnings followed by 7 minutes of unskippable trailers that pirates will never, ever see?

I will only pre-order Uncharted games or Zelda games, because looking at their track record, I am 100% certain I will enjoy them. The last game I pre-ordered that didn't fall into either of those categories was Dragon Age 2.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is an incredible movie.

Thanks to everyone for the support. I really appreciate it; here's to hoping tomorrow is better!

So, I got the "just friends" talk yesterday from a guy I was super interested in. Still feel like shit today. It's not gaming related but that's all I've got.

Let me preface this by saying this is not a "slow news day" post, a judgment for/against the writer of the article or sarcastic in any way. Is there any way to hide these types of stories? I don't mind the other, not super gaming related stories, so I don't need Core, but these tales are just awful. And I realize I

That pink jumpsuit must be horrifically uncomfortable in order to hold her breasts like that. Assuming they are real, that is.

You've got to be kidding me.

It is not solely about that. Yes, there are some people who are unhappy with the tone of the endings, but it's more the leaps of logic and glaring plotholes that have people up in arms.

"Update - Let's be clear, I am in no way belittling or demeaning the money raised so far, which currently stands at over $27,000. It's going to a good cause."

I missed the opportunity to promote this, and now I am sad.

They could have easily raised that amount of money in that amount of time some other way? I doubt that, sadly. They started this donation thing as a way to bring positive attention to their requests for an ending fix. (EDIT: And the irony, of course, is that even that didn't work. Even when raising a crapton of money

Because people are spurred on by a cause. And yes, I realize that the children are a cause in and of themselves, but some people require more of a push. Does it really matter that it's connected to ME3 if the donations are going to help the children?

Goddamn it, Kotaku. Just stop.

So a group of people who have raised damn near $27,000 for sick children should be ashamed of themselves?

I wanted to post this as a follow-up to Kotaku's articles on the ME3 endings:
