@ssh83: It's not that I can't afford the monthly subscription, it's that I don't really want to pay $15 per month, on top of the base price, for the "privilege" of playing online with people I don't know (the majority of whom will be jerks). If the only benefit KotOR is going to see from MMO-ing itself is playing with

@ApollyonBoB: I do replay KotOR. It's one of my favorites. I'm not suggesting it's the absolute pinnacle of gameplay perfection, but I enjoyed it. For me, it's not what TOR is missing, but more what IT has that KotOR didn't.

I know this bandwagon has long since left, but goddammit Bioware, THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A SINGLE PLAYER GAME.

@Vlyke615: I considered D2D, but their price is $30, whereas I can get the full game (plus the various expansions and DLC) from EA for $17, and the full game (vanilla) from Gamestop for $15. I've just never heard anything about their services, and don't know if a D2D style backup is possible with them.

Has anyone here purchased digital downloads from either Gamestop or EA's store? I'm looking to invest in Dragon Age: Origins, and those two have the best price, but I'm wary about purchasing digitally from someone other than Steam.

Aw, man....that was not cool. :( I clicked thinking I would see a sequel, or at the very least, a PSN/Arcade/Wii release but, alas, no such luck. Damn I miss that game....

Eeesh....this is a debate I'm not 100% sure I want to dive in to. On one hand, this type of censorship makes me incredibly "nerd rage"-y, and my first instinct is to cry foul. On the other hand, I can't even begin to imagine the scenario they have right now; service men and women taking on the role of the people they

@Phanta: While this whole situation does suck, I really don't think any employer can give a potential employee a guarantee that they'll never be laid off

It's sad when the only bit of a Kotaku article I can understand is the line "Bitch Eat That Ho."

Having some loud, annoying kid yell at me about how awesome the PSP is does not make me want a PSP. This statement is not limited to only this commercial.

Good Lord, there sure are a bunch of killjoys in this thread. Lighten up and quit acting as though the few (what appear to be) non-work hours these guys spent doing this is crippling the company. Unless those 5 people are the ONLY people working there, and are thus the only ones responsible for every game the company

Now playing

That about sums up my feelings on the issue.

Admitting fault, fixing the problem AND giving compensation? Damn....Valve puts other companies to shame in terms of PR.

Did he stab him over something Harry Potter related? I mean, it's a terrible thing, and not at all justified if it WAS Harry Potter related, I'm just lost about the reference to him being a fan.

I want this. Very much.

Every single member of that disgusting excuse for an organization is a waste of life. I hate them, I hate what they stand for, I hate what they do, and if they were to all drop dead tomorrow (or be beaten to death maliciously), I'd probably dance in the street with happiness.

@Gameslaya: Close, but not quite. Here's my take:

@Neige: I don't pretend to know anything about Law, but I would imagine this situation is complicated thanks to the implications of the change.

Good lord, the shopped version of the first image will haunt me for the rest of my days.
