@nightwatchman777: Very well said. I've got nothing of any real substance to add, I just felt like replying to show my support since I was unable to promote/approve.

@RollRoll: I honestly do not understand why "interactivity" immediately nullifies video games as an artistic medium to some people. It seems odd, especially when one goes to museums such as the MOMA and sees interactive works of art all over the place.

I'm completely neutral on the topic of Move but taking away/delaying the release of planned game content for the sake of making this...thing...compatible makes me lean towards the side of hatred.

My computer has a problem loading Kotaku thanks to all these videos so the first thing I saw was the title of this article, which was pretty confusing and terrifying in its own right. Seeing the top image shortly thereafter, however, and associating Al Gore with it, is the stuff of nightmares.

@JayJello: They were actually really good games, IMO. Not the Second Coming, like most folks here seemed to have expected, but they were solid, fun experiences.

I still don't understand all the hate for Molyneux. It's always been my understanding that talk of a game while still in development, especially coming from a developer, should never be taken as absolute fact.

@Madgame: Overwhelminglyfantastic

@Sleet: I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. It just always feels silly to say that a company is incapable of doing badly, even if there's evidence to back it up

@(Pigeon) Teliko: See, I actually loved Ratatouille. I used to be able to rank their movies, but I have a hard time picking favorites anymore. Ratatouille is near the top, though.

@Goldwings: is dating the moon: Cars is my least favorite out of all their movies, but I wouldn't call it bad by any means. I think it's definitely the weakest, but a weak Pixar film is still a pretty damn good film, IMO.

While I'm firmly in the fanboy camp of "Pixar is not capable of making a bad movie" I still had worries about this one, given that it's the third in the series and they've been whoring the brand like crazy. But skimming over the review (comparing blue to red, avoiding spoilers) I have to say that I'm pleased with the

@mindsale: I actually adore this art style. The textures definitely need some work (especially those trees—-ugh) but the vibrancy of the palette is nice, IMO. I love the colors, and the smooth "almost cell-shaded but not quite" look of Link. It's very....painterly? I don't know if that's really the right word, but I

@FearfulInsomniac: I don't really want to dive into the middle of the argument, but I'd like to point out that "Just because you say something doesn't make it true" applies to you as well. You claim this isn't a work of art, John claims otherwise.

I knew I wasn't crazy when I saw a bit of Cezanne in there.

@David Sharpe: If it eases your fears, I have a release day Wii that I've used extensively and I've had no hardware issues at all

"Aonuma says that recent Zeldas have been focusing on things like story and dungeons. Skyward will instead simply focus on "fun"."

@rtanger: Yep. But, on the upside, maybe it'll push out the ones we've already got

"Playing Portal 2....For Science."
