I agree, she did an interview on a radio show where she talked about how she loves Trump where she just criticized Hillary and Obama and vaguely talked about how Trump was amazing and was being attacked by the media to seem racist, and how she loved his policies and was impressed with his rallies.

She was definitely more of a ‘Trump isn’t Hillary’ person, but she still seemed to like some imaginary version of him that was actually a progressive and bold truth teller. She seems to live in a bit of a fantasy world.

I wouldn’t say it’s low risk. She’s more progressive than most career politicians, and is unafraid to say things that might not play over well with less than progressive areas (pointing out that black and brown people are disproportionately locked up is controversial even with most Dems)
