It's pretty clear at this point that Robin and Paula have some sort of agreement.
Wow. What an unnecessarily nasty piece of literature. "Quick, hide the naked bump! Pregnancy must not be sexy!" Those photos may not, in some ways, have been a win for feminism, but your "article" sure as hell isn't. We should be celebrating pregnant ladies having the balls to reveal a tum in public, not shaming them.…
Where's the $10,000 un-edited photo bounty??? Where's your feminist outrage Jez?
I mean, I guess if your partner stares directly and only at your genitals the entire time, they might think your vag looks childish. And saying that you "can't believe the time young women spend trying to make themselves look like children" is, in fact, a value judgement. It implies that basically all these silly…
Women don't shave with the intention of looking like a child. That's just nonsense. Some women find being hairless more appealing, and that's fine. It's your vagina, do what you want with it. No reason to shame someone for it.
Those are not granny panties. There does exist underwear that is between a thong and matronly undergarments.
I hate this stupid statement so much. No, trimming/shaving your pubes doesn't make you look like a child. End of story.
THIS. This particular trope is just the worst. Wanna know why women don't want to call themselves feminists? Cuz the most visible form of feminism is indistinguishable from 2/3rds of the way through Mean Girls.
As a Millennial, I can't believe Boomers and former Flower Children are such judgmental assholes.
Please tell me more about what gives you personally a boner...
I really don't think that not having pubes makes anyone look like a child. And it's not as if women who shave are hoping to look like children, or at least most of them aren't (I hope). Also, when men shave, are they also trying to look like children, in your opinion? I'm seriously curious.
Bullshit. Some people (men and women) like completely shaved. Some people find completely shaved attractive. Some people also find it practical. Other people, obviously, don't feel that way. Let's leave it up to the person and (when appropriate and consensual) his/her partner.
Excuse me, I would just like to point out that a woman shaving her vulva doesn't make it look child-like. There's a great difference between a child's vulva and a grown woman and that difference isn't hair. Thank you.
I've been shaving my bits for more than 20 years, and yes I've nicked myself a few times, where there was blood (not anytime in the last decade though) But holy cow, ER visits? Damn people, sloooooooow dooooooown.
I think dropping a grand on razor burn at the hospital though takes a certain sort of someone though.
I think we need a typeface bigger than ALL CAPS for an accidental circumcism while lady grooming. It should resemble Edvard Munch's "The Scream" and have audio. This is a required PSA.
