Eh, it won't be franchise-ruining. If it's bad; we can just ignore it. I've been ignoring Sonic X for a decade now.

You have it the other way around, actually. The comics are actually based on the show. But since it takes longer to produce an animated television show than it does a comic book, the comic saw public release first; leading to the long-held misconception.

Okay, you're right, that I'm mistaken Sonic 2 HD for Sonic Fan Remix. Still, neither project was shut down by Sega. Sonic 2 HD fell apart because of its own drama, and from what I can tell by skimming through the forum topic, SFR ended because its two programmers wanted to move on and do something original with the

I've known of one occasion where Sega sent a C&D in self interest, and that was the Streets of Rage remake, which had the misfortune of coming along at about the same time that Sega was planning a remake of their own, IIRC.

You are mistaking Sega for Nintendo & Square.

No, that project never got a C&D letter from Sega. If there is one thing Sega can be given credit for, it's that they've always been willing to look the other way with regards to fan-games and fan engines. They've even contracted fans to do recent ports of the Genesis titles to mobile platforms. Cut them some slack.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and there is none.

It's not archived audio. They got him to do recording sessions. He's been active in his interest in reprising the role of Sonic.

No no no... He didn't turn down Sonic Generations. He was never even contacted by Sega to do Generations. Sega wanted to play it safe with the "classicfags" who are adamant that Sonic is a silent protagonist, so early on the decision was made to keep Classic Sonic silent in the game. I'm sure keeping him silent also

"Is there anything you would not do... for your family?"

Tony Garcia was the Mayor of Gotham (played by Nestor Carbonel) in Nolan's trilogy. And yes, the girl narrating, plus Larissa Oleynik in the 10 Things I Hate About You clips is supposed to be Harley Quinn.

Eh... Just get Mark Hamill to do it.

Well... At least a part of him still lives on in the Nexus, if the Guinan ghost is anything to go by.

This is coming in the same week that I hear the trashy new TMNT theme song, and learn that A Christmas Story is getting a direct-to-video sequel.

So do I. The cosplay's much more interesting to me than the AA, AC and nu 52 outfits.

Sonic is still very much with Sega, appearing on every platform under the sun, not just Nintendo's. Contrary to popular belief/opinion, Sega did not die with the Dreamcast.

Ixis Naugus, and he's actually a holdover from the SatAM cartoon (Search Youtube for the episode "The Void", it's one of the best episodes before the finale).

I know I'm in the minority here, but issues 51-75, where many claim things started getting aimless, was actually a favorite period of mine. It was there where they got a chance to show they were more than a soulless tie-in series, where they did some world-building beyond Robotropolis and Knothole. You got some new

IIRC, not a clone per se... They rewrote the DNA in his father's sperm so that it would be Bruce's. So that would make Terry the "love" child of Mary McGinnis and Bruce Wayne.
