I think a bit of serialized crossover is what's missing from Marvel's TV shows. Sure we got a couple Nick Fury cameos on SHIELD, but his character is basically the only reason that team exists, and we're not likely to see him again for a while (ever?). Meanwhile, the story is totally beholden to the movies and has to

Fun Fact: I played in the Catan Big Game at Gen Con a couple years ago (980 people or something). Our pocket of 6 (you only directly interact with the 5 people next to and across from you, but the boards are all interconnected) was chugging along competitively with 13-16 points when the winner reached the goal of 25,

I read maybe 50-100 Dinosaur Comics before realizing they used the same layout every single time.

Scrapall sounds pretty useful, assuming it does what it sounds like it does. Sanctuary and Spectacle Island each took about 45 min to scrap down. (SI would be kind of a pain because there are some trees and power cables it would be irritating to replace… But still worth it.)

That's just because 3D World is so good. SMB WiiU was a 10, until 3DW came out, which makes it like a 7 in comparison.

I played that for a day or two. Thanks to some bad luck rushing water early on, my people were constantly irradiated, at 10% happiness, with pretty much nothing I could do about it. Strange game.

Yep.

So this movie is going to be on Syfy?

Fun stuff. I have way too many settlements, but am getting better at building crazy defenses at them.

Yeah, the whole "But there's one item hiding somewhere in the entirety of game world that will reduce my build efficiency by a level" thing seems like an overreaction to me, esp. in a game with no level cap.

Great movie. I never noticed that Skroob backward is Brooks until now. So lazy it's inspired.

One great thing about this adaptation is that so many of the lines remain the same, basically verbatim, and of course they're still really funny.

Yeah, it's super fun. I've played it for like, college-student levels of time every night.

Red Rocket is my home. I have set up Sanctuary and 4 other settlements, but everyone at RR is mine (plus it has a place for my power armor to collect dust) and it's where I go back to. It's compact, with no jerk NPCs with story needs. (And yes maybe I could just move all the crafting stuff in Sanctuary closer

I don't think so.

The golden golem thing was awesome.

Yeah, I'm at 15 or something, and have spent as few as possible on stats (just to hit min. requirements.) Putting 3 points in Int to reach Science! felt excruciating. Were points added to SPECIAL in previous Fallouts more noticably beneficial?

Have the air temple have magic that turns darkness into hydrogen.

Yeah, the UI is wonky. You get used to it, but it's weird. I generally take my hand off of the mouse to use the arrow keys in conversations and menus, because clicking on the little arrows is weird.

The Fallout 4 reviews were positive so, having never played a Fallout game before, I bought it.
