I imagine there are some dialogue options that change based on your character's attributes (e.g. Intelligence).

Not just houses… whole towns!
Nice. Really nice.
It's honestly not a bad alternative. And surprising how some little red number needing to be addressed can be really motivating—e.g. "Huh, this town needs some defense. Better build a couple turrets. But they'll need something to stand on… And what the hell, an attached two-story shack with bedrooms and a sofa and…
I end up spending and hour or two every time I get a new settlement, just building crap. Tenpines has a nice two-level shack on the edge of the cliff, the Starlight Drive in has an elaborate building that I spend like half an hour just trying to get the roof and laser-turret wires to play nice together—plus I had to…
Lame, you should have at least made Red Rocket your own. Stupid Jun Long and Druggo Grandma can bite me.
Too late now, though, since it's no fun to walk back and forth with supplies.
I'm pretty sure you need Level 24, Scrounger 2 for that. Which I think is in the Intelligence tree?
There's a water supply (besides the little +3 wells) at Sanctuary? Man I haven't looked around I guess.
*Psst* PS4 is where to go from XB360 anyways
I too have been playing Militia Dollhouse Simulator: Murder is Optional. I figured I'd be spending all day playing it, but I ended up playing (Roblox) Epic Miner 2 with my daughter instead. For an embarrasingly long time. Great game though.
Directing the actors toward shitty wooden line delivery = bad choice. He was trying to recreate the nostalgic feel of (shitty) old adventure serials.
This list is full of pretty great ideas that I don't hate. Great Job, AV Club! Charade and Forbidden Planet would be fun.. Though for the latter, Del Toro is super overrated, I'd like some substance in my style, please!
That's good news. Thanks!
Hey guys I got Fallout 4. I'm playing on PC, and wow, the controls for interacting with the environment and your inventory are so cumbersome. Interacting with anything means taking my hands of the mouse and using arrow keys. Is it the state of gaming that crappy hybrid mouse-controller schemes are the norm now? It…
How much Keefe is in this movie? MILES O'Keefe!
She does a perfectly fine job in Maid in Manhattan.
What do you guys think of those Event Courses? I played through them today, a couple toughies, but only about half of them were star-worthy and one of them was just really dumb. It'd be neat if they introduced some costumes with alternate functionality (besides "be small and also able to take a hit") to allow for new…
That's a good point. Credit where credit is due. But still that seems like something the designers/artists themselves should be concerned about. E.g. stuff to put on their resumés; accomplishments to be proud of. If they do good work, they'll get more opportunities for it.
Yeah, luckily there are people online who are happily willing to powerlevel you to 70, it takes about 10-20 minutes. So dying on hardcore still has stakes (lose your equipped items, time spent PLing) but isn't some hours-of-tedium prospect, and it heightens the general tension and excitement while you're playing.…
A little bit. The other toolbox addition is that you can now make a "mushroom or fire flower, depending" block by dragging a mushroom on top of a fire flower. Also works for feather, propeller hat, etc.
