(shrug) I don’t see any particular reason to give the benefit of the doubt to a completely unknown showrunner whose only identifiable characteristic at this point is that he/she will be hired by the same FremantleMedia execs who just made the extremely stupid decision to part ways with Fuller and Green.

I mean, it’s not like I’ll stop watching. I still hope it’ll be good. It would be really sad to lose one of the best new shows over something like this.

It’s the safest assumption. Fuller is a genius. American Gods was hard enough to adapt and he did it masterfully. Maybe the groundwork is laid well enough that someone else will be able to pick up the slack and carry it, but I wouldn’t count on it.

Shut your face.

Well, it was great while it lasted :/

Spike Lee angrily tweets Axl Rose’s address.

I think we’ve now answered John Oliver’s “What The Fuck Is Going On At CBS This Morning”

PRtMB — I’ve read your posts. Every time you write another comment you look more like a troll. Maybe its time to have a glass of milk and think about whether or not the world needs to hear your every thought?

Do you want a cookie? I’m not sure why anyone is taking a victory lap on any of these stories.

Witcher 3 has the best-developed and most interesting sidequests of any game of its genre I’ve ever played.

In the New York Times article, it said he did apologize to at least some of the women himself, well before the story broke or was about to break. I still think all the repercussions against him are necessary, and warranted, but I actually believe he is sincere in his apology.

I think it lessens the incentive for people to apologize for and make up for past mistakes if people refuse to give them even the slightest bit of credit for doing so.

I know it won’t matter to most people, but this is a really good statement and exactly how these things should be done.

God forbid people wait for there to actually be an accuser to believe rather than just assume every rumor is true.

I have. About Louis CK.

Oh, so... somebody did the journalism? About damned time.

The stories contained objective factual errors regarding Jen Kirkman’s comments. Journalistic standards matter.

So... if you want actual concrete claims prior to vilifying someone you’re a rape apologist?

I was one of the folks who was like “We should maybe withhold judgement until there are named accusers.”

These stories got plenty of pushback on Jezebel and old Gawker too. The reason why this one won’t is because there are actual substantiated claims made by real people. These aren’t the tittering giggling innuendos that originally accompanied these “stories” about Louis CK.
