Good luck HP. I have just dipped into Infinite Jest. It's very engaging, to say the least.

This bothers me as well. More than it should, really.

Hey you can never be too careful around here.

It's barely funny in 2 minutes. I can't see how adding another hour+ is going to make it funnier.

campico, you have ruined my entire world view.

Does anyone else
hate Jeremy Davies like I do?

It felt good, Jorge.

I'm not a fan of Anne Heche, though I don't hold the ire that you do for the woman, phel. I just stopped thinking about her at all.

I think Richard Lewis is one of the worst parts about Men in Tights. I like Dave Chappelle though.

I'm with twif. I think Gene Wilder had the ability to kind of reign in Mel Brooks' broad humor, and Brooks' made Wilder's dryer humor more accessible. I am a big fan of Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein, but History of the World: Part I and Spaceballs to me have so many gag-type jokes that the story pretty much

I hate your ass FACE!

I know you are only half-serious, but truly, when was the last time Brooke Shields gave a second's thought to Michael Jackson? I can understand Smokey Robinson and Lionel Richie being there; they actually had some contact with MJ recently (according to themselves) but for Christ's sake why Mariah Carey? It's frankly

I think I am the opposite to the Dr. up there. I am a fan of any potato chip, but always like the flavored chips better. I have recently jumped on the Kettle Chips bandwagon after consuming an entire bag of the Cheddar ones in one sitting. And I am a sucker for anything cheddar—and-sour-cream flavored.

That ViB stuff sounds kind of good. I hate all the energy drinks because of that shitty guarana-metal taste they all seem to have. This sounds perfect for zoning out and watching golf on TV.

Burl, you make me smile.

Oh David, as a former coffee-house worker, I am all too familiar with flavored syrups in the seltzer-they are called Italian Sodas. I have always been partial to Monin Syrups, but you are right that the right combination can mimic a good NY Seltzer.

Old Dutch Chips made a Loaded Baked Potato chip, but I could only find it in Minneapolis. Those dipped into sour cream was the best meal.

I found Boo Berry in the regular grocery store over Halloween. It was the best thing ever, and I will buy 3 boxes this year.

Chocolate Twizzlers are just weird enough to be awesome. They taste good, but in that chocolate-flavored fake way.

I think Pudding Pops are still out there, but they're smaller and they don't taste the same. I remember eating them right out of the deep freeze and getting my tongue stuck to the pop. It was a bit scary.
