And all those Kooky Nazis!

I'd go with the mythical South of any movie. Huge plantations, always sunny weather, genteel manners.

I will agree with Pleasantville, but may I offer the world of Erie PA in That Thing You Do! All the best parts of being a teen in the 60s with none of the pesky Vietnam and political subversion stuff. Just a sea of bubble hairdos and pop music.

I am so with you MelissaW. The clothes, the leisure, the language, Alan Rickman…ah Jane Austen. I would love living somewhere where the biggest problem a woman has to deal with is proper manners. Sounds pretty anti-femenisit, but who cares.

I could never forget that one Durckk! Also had Six from Blossom, and that plaintiff woman from Night Court. Oh and Marv Albert. Most surreal.

Nightswimming was my Junior Prom theme!

Ah, good, there's a thread for embarrassment. I will see you a Hootie and raise you a Dave Matthews. Sadly, Crash and Before These Crowded Streets are quintessential summer albus for me. I can barely listen to them in the winter; it just doesn't feel right.

Does anyone know or like Skankin Pickle? Because that one is a total summer album for me. That and the Smoking Popes, who areen't ska, but great all the same.

Once again AV Club has reminded me that I have to replace my broken Pharcyde CD. It will be just in time for summer!
