@Navin R Johnson: Yeah, I saw a few of those, but none of them support resolutions high enough to make me happy.

I have an external monitor attached to my laptop. That's only two screens. I'm a Lifehacker, which means I want more. Unfortunately, I only have one monitor port on my laptop. If I wanted to attach a third monitor (it will be at least a 20" screen) using another type of interface, how should I go about it?
@leetgeek: Come to my D.C. suburb and you can shovel some more. :)
@Vensaina: Yeah, I really meant for this "imagine if" to get the Lifehacker team thinking about live updating and such.
What are your favorite TV shows? Mine are Star Wars: The Clone Wars, 24, and Leverage. Before they went off the air, I also watched Stargate SG1 and Firefly.
Imagine if Lifehacker started all future Open Threads on Google Buzz.
I scan every receipt, invoice, and packing slip that I get. It's great to see others recognizing the importance of preserving these records.
@TehBeardMan: Ah, I hadn't seen the profile setting. Thanks!
I'm looking for a solid USB audio mixer with at least five inputs. Recommendations?
I have two wishes for the Open Thread:
@lukestigdon: Still hasn't hit me yet.
Since we're about to get deluged with snow here in D.C., what are your favorite technology projects to do when you're cooped up inside?
@Buster Friendly: I got out of school early (11:45am) because they didn't want us driving home in dangerous weather. The snow is really picking up here in D.C. Hooray for Friday!
@Terry: Windows Live Photo Gallery is fantastic. It is pretty and works well. It also ties in with Windows Live SkyDrive, which gives you 25GB of free storage. [download.live.com]
@chris0089: You could try Pinnacle VideoSpin ([www.videospin.com]). I have it, but I don't use it often, because I have Premiere Pro on my editing workstation. But from what I remember, it should do what you need.
@nyCecilia: I have a WNDR3700 as well. I really like it. Let me know if you have questions about the thing and I'll assist as well.
I've been using Weave for quite some time now. Great implementation of a great concept.
I usually download large torrents overnight, and I have to admit, I've been really bad about turning on the automatic shutdown. It's one of my New Year's resolutions.
Now if only we could get a usable build of Skype for Android. I can't seem to get mine working...
