COTD right here

which is the right answer, unless you have an unlimited wheel budget.

Nice car - pure crackpipe price. Great example of what can happen to guys like us.

David - I like you. I like your articles. But I’m not reading any more until you clean up this mess. For heaven’s sake, man - don’t be a pig. Its unfair to make us complicit in this abortion you call a homestead.  That’s just being a shitty neighbor and a bad wrench.  Send pix when it’s straightened up and I’ll start

3500

Any Uber driver reading this will have a story more gross than these boogers.  People are pigs.

It’s a small market for this car - but the right buyer will pay over $20K for it - probably not the full $30, but hey, it’s Craigslist - everyone knows the real price is half the ask. $18 grand in hundreds in his driveway you’d have the title, and a pretty cool cruise night toy...could do way worse.

and less than average Mazdarust too. I wouldn’t necessarily be afraid of that car even at that mileage...

we’re talking sub $5K cars here - it’s gonna be a pre-skyactiv :)

you get about 20 MPG in a Town Car no matter how you drive it.  Not bad, and better than most SUV’s/ CUV’s.  Not much worse than a Mazda 3 which gets around 24.  The value in a Panther is utter durability and cheap, plentiful parts.  They fit 5 or 6 full sized humans, and 4 dead hookers in the trunk.  Can be a drag to

not if you buy a Town Car - you get all 3 - it’s a paradox

this is the actual right answer - any Panther.  They’re cheap because people don’t want them, and instead want crappy cheap corollas that need 3 grand in front end work.

Usually.

the millenials have wrecked America with stupid phrases like this, and my personal least-favorite “bespoke”

ditto

1987 I was 18 years old. The Corvettes were crap - the Camaros were crap. The Mustangs were more popular, but basically crap. Chrysler was pushing crap like Lasers and Daytonas which really were crap. This Buick was actually awesome, but it was a LOT of money, and it looked dated (because it was). All the dope dealers

a coil on a 4.6 is all of 10 minutes...what caused you trouble?

because the guy is an epic douchebag maybe?

right, VetRacer - it’s simply that there’s better ways to spend $7500 in my mind. I’d play with something like this for a few months at $2500, but there’s just not enough there to see this as any sort of “keeper” .  I’d probably be bored after the test drive, and I’m an old school VW fan all the way.  Meh.

Prohibition was over before this thing was built. LOL.
