That’s a fine $4K car that needs a grand in tires.  $3K not a dime more.

no they can’t - see my other post.  They’re good, but they can only do so much.

Because what you’re doing is paying more money to make your car worse at its job. A flagship luxury sedan is designed to provide the best ride imaginable

This is a depressing story.  Relateable, but certainly not something to glorify.  There’s so many good projects out there, that it makes the nonsense of bad ones like this so sad of a waste of time and welding wire.  Moral - when you see the thing heading south, ditch it and move on.  It’s cheaper and funner that way.

Subaru Legacys

Ever drive a VW Bug (old one)?  had to crack a window or the doors wouldn’t shut.   Because they don’t have these.  Fun Fact.

wow.

social engineering is one of, if not THE worst thing about this current generation’s mentality. my vices are no worse than anyone else’s....why is it that all of mine have become stigmatized to the point of being socially acceptable to berate me for my choices, but I have to be tolerant of others and speaking up can

show me a better car for the same money on the market today - anywhere - exactly - you can’t. Show me another car that is that nice that can be wrenched on and kept alive by a 12 year old with a youtube account and the birthday cash from grandma....again, you can’t. The Town Car is an enigma. A beautiful, powerful,

Step 1 for me - take the thing to the dealer for the ‘deluxe’ PM service. They check a ton of shit for free, really fast and they have experience (lots of it) with the car you bought. A $20 tip to the head mechanic will get you a LOT of advice worth more than the $20. It’s the fastest and cheapest way to a good

honda drains get plugged all the time.  Compressed air fixes it.  It’s usually spiders.

it’s freaky - and I voted NP before reading the comments on purpose to surprise myself.  Call me weird, but I actually dig this freak show. Cash money it will go for less than the ask, and it’s kinda hard to beat this for the fun you could have with it on cruise night for short money.  But it’s gonna take a special

agree 100% - wrong format for that conversation.  This is an ‘in person’ conversation on a $40K specialty BMW

Maybe I’m old school, but I’ll say this for purpose of education to the readers here - using the Chat function for this conversation is a dumb move.  It’s simply the wrong communication method.  Go to the dealership and have a conversation like a real adult. This is a $40K specialty car. You are not a 17 year old kid

looks was always the debate - yeah, it looked like a Cavalier. But to me, that always seemed ‘under the radar’. Mustangs and Camaros, Challengers et.al just beg to get pulled over while hooning - or even not hooning because they just look fast. The Goat could disappear. I guess I dig the subtlety in appearance.

I was wrong - thought the GTO had a much higher selling price new - but it didn’t.  sure was a hell of a lot better car - and I’m a Mustang guy.

those cars are in entirely different classes - not fair comparison at all.

yes, because it needs about $2500 worth of front end work at that point, new tires, new calipers, and probably a new clutch -  $6 grand tops.

CL is a market for 2k civics...it’s most certainly the wrong venue to sell or buy a 25K porsche.  JMO

apparently he’s the wife.
