Any Cadillac with the 4.1L “no output” engine is ND to me.

You guys don’t know how to play NP/ND. Just because there are “better” cars in your opinion for $3,900, doesn’t mean that that still isn’t a good price for THIS car. You can have both!

That was my logic.

I have a personal story behind my vote: In 2003 I bought a 1995 volvo 850 turbo with ~120k miles on it for $3,350. Automatic, sedan, black on black.

Nice Price for someone.  This would make a good first car for someone’s kid.  Volvo’s have always been safe and this thing should go forever.  It’s old enough to not be too hard to work on and the whole “birth control” looks of the car “may” help.

The wagon, on the other hand, is one of the best suited cars for procreation ever.
Side note: i’d  definitely fuck a guy driving a Volvo. 850s aren’t the most exciting ones, but woof daddy, gimme that indestructible tech and sweet seats!

Want some fun facts?

Option B:  you can just take your $650 and set it directly on fire.  You will be rid of your money for much less effort.

Yawn. Such a hot take. My 2015 Frontier has never had a single issue since I’ve bought it new and I know a bunch of people that have the same experience. They may be dated, but it’s going to last me 20 years without any major repairs.

Now playing

Yeah, maybe because CO2 and Methane are not really heating up anything?

I’m confused at how this is political.

Maybe dig before you write a story.

STOP BEING SO POLITICAL! I’M TIRED OF IT! I used to come to Jalopnik to read about car news and funny witty articles about mishaps Demuro was having with his cheap exotics or how Torch was working on an old beater. Now all it seems like Jalopnik has become a crazy leftist political hack site spewing hatred toward’s

Said it before, will say it again. Sidewall=good. The more sidewall, the less of those forces transfer into the car. Yes youll lose some handling, but for a daily driver? More sidewall.

I mean if I was retired owned a 2 post lift, the entire contents of a Snap On truck, 50 years of mechanical knowledge (and not the shitty Scotty Kilmer kind) and truly hated the sight of my spouse or family then yeah I could totally see this in my garage.

This is one of the better looking malasise era cars.

I was just driving around in my ‘81 CV with my young son the other day when he asked me if it could go off road.  I replied the best way I could think of:  with a demonstration.  Before cars were pigeon-holed, they were very capable of many things, all without the excess of technology we have today.  Yes, a panther

It’s even dumber VW didn’t make their diesel cars compatible with the larger nozzles.

Stern gave me good advice 20 years ago when I wanted to upgrade my halogen headlights to HID and he knew what he was talking about then. Here I am now with 25 years experience engineering, 20 of it in the automotive biz and 5 in the automotive headlight biz and he’s still right.

Clean, rust free, straight six, manual. Extraneous electronic BS: none.  4x4 and long bed.  This truck is for people who need it to work without drama forever, and it will.  Hell, it already has and is squared up to do it some more.
