I wouldn’t call the 11 MKZ I had an appliance - it was a really nice car with a certain level of panache - even a fusion is a pretty nice place to be - better than a Jeep XJ for sure!

oh, they certainly are cockroaches - can’t kill ‘em unless you run ‘em out of water - which can happen several ways - but like cockroaches, they may be hard to kill, but are a nuisance nonetheless.  I pity the person who endured 500K miles in one of those POS....what a terrible life to lead.

My buddy and I did a square body XJ last year - rust free as they come (AZ car), sourced online, trucked to my house, spent 6 months in restoration...in the end, it was a really nice XJ, which is to say it was a crappy car in great shape. I now believe that these old jeeps are better in appropriately crappy condition

this is garbage. Kill it with fire - tracer bullets in the desert if you want to give it a glorious sendoff. It should make it that far.

literally the best bang for the buck out there right now are the Fusion/MKZ/Milan platform cars...

math....it’s hard for a lot of people, especially ‘journalists’.

It’s a codpiece - but I’m glad you noticed just the same - kinda why I put it there -

the endless accusations of “check your male white privilege” tossed around recklessly at all white males is no less racist than any other racist or sexist comment, and it’s getting pretty tiresome - just because some jackass said some shitty thing to someone else ain’t got nothing to do with me just because i’m white

I’m the guy who calls the cops on people parking in wheelchair spots when they shouldn’t be....so frig off.

dude, trust me. Indoor plumbing matters more than what/where you sleep. It’s second only to staying dry when you want to be dry. RV Life is not sustainable without indoor plumbing, and indoor safe food prep. You need an indoor cooking solution - an electric skillet goes a long way, but you need to be able to clean it

you speak the truth - learned myself the same way.  Brad - pay attention.

you WILL operate the car the way the government mandates in every situation - because they say so.

this is a joke, right?  CP

So let me ask you a serious question - Take the case of Courtney Hansen. 20 something years in Automotive Journalism / Car Culture. The comments she gets on each media platform are FREQUENTLY the creepy ones and even more often the “borderline” creeper ones - she seems to have no problem with that - in fact she

right...but it depends. I almost bought a 250 last month (bought an Expedition instead), and it was going to be the SXT version simply BECAUSE of the rubber floors.....what I do with trucks is dirty, and don’t like cleaning carpets. The vinyl seats in the SXT is, IMO, better than the leather too, but again, purpose

never drove a C class....no idea.  compared to my fords, it was good materials.  the keyfob stuck in the dash part is just weird tho....worst of both worlds

neither he or I are saying it’s not real. we are both saying that hate is hate and hate is bad, and people suck. it’s not about being ‘woke’ or not. you can’t change the shitty past by doing shitty things now to others.

Five layers of center stack, each with different alignment and aesthetic. And then look at that wheel.

cheap looking buttons work for decades...fancy crap breaks and is expensive to fix in year 4+. this is (was) a value prop car, needing value prop buttons.

the base vs not base are markedly different in F150's - for entirely different market audiences.
