the down trim F150's are definitely function over form. They work well, and clean well, but they’re ugly ugly.

Ya, you’re wrong. I like buttons after dealing with ‘not buttons’ capacitive touch nonsense. And I hate push button start too. Easily worst I’ve driven is Mercedes GLA loaner - beautiful materials, utterly unfunctional, and the Ipad glued to the dashboard is just stupid.

you are LITERALLY proving his point tho...smh

to be fair, hate is hate, and accepting some ‘acceptable’ forms of hate enables or encourages the other forms of hate that are ‘less acceptable’. It’s all bad and it feeds from our accepting of ‘hate we agree with’ and simultaneously attacking ‘hate we don’t’. I get tons of hate when I take unpopular-in-the-forum

it’s either ok to troll or it’s not. being female is an attribute, nothing more, and nothing special, presuming equality is the ideal. for some reason society has decided which attributes to protect, and which are OK to troll on. I don’t get how the folks arguing for inclusion are so quick to exclude others with

in a hot second....NP.  Fun second bike - would be a great attraction and spur good conversations at the stops along the ride.

Yaris is equivalent to a Tercel, not a corolla - in today’s dollars the $8098 price of a 1990 Tercel is equivalent within a couple hundred dollars of the Yaris now slightly favoring the Yaris. The Yaris is a markedly better car - technology is good. You win this one, man.

but you can’t unscrew the maid

Sorry, dude.  It’s minivan time.  You made your choices, now live with them.

I’d buy that one just BECAUSE it’s green....but yeah, it’s a polarizing color.

I’ll never again buy a vehicle that has only ‘virtual’ buttons and knobs.  If I can’t twist a knob or push a button to control radio and hvac, it’s a no-deal.

the design flaw was such that a salvage part is virtually certain to have the same issue, therefore not worth the time or money.  There were (are) no new parts available from Ford.  There were not many of these cars made or sold, so there aren’t even many wrecks or ebay parts even if they were likely good units.

well, it wasn’t worse than the version that Lincoln had....I sold an MKS at a loss because I couldn’t even get the parts for their damned no real button capacitive touch Stereo/HVAC stack control that constantly went haywire ....at least you can get the parts for CUE.

on that we largely agree, left.  but these california regulations are a cancer on the country - i’ve said before, the issue i have is with double standards.  double standards are bad.  our broken federal government is not an excuse to create a broken republic, or it’s the argument to break the republic up.

You’re comparing lofty fuel efficiency legislature to “cars are too heavy and too expensive. they should be lighter and then they’ll be cheaper and somehow the engines will be smoother”? Are you just foolish or trying to gaslight?

the USA is a Republic.  Trust me, you don’t want a pure democracy in any aspect of your life - the weakest softest members get slaughtered.

be well, dude.  we shall have to agree to disagree, as is our right to do.

fwiw, the marijuana situation is exactly the same thing (if in reverse)...it’s legal, but it’s illegal...so which is it? the legal states are having a major impact on the not legal states in a quite negative fashion adding complications that the states didn’t sign up for but still have to pay for dealing with.
