I daily drove an 07 (7th gen) V6 EX-L NAV 6MT SEDAN for 185K miles in 4 and a half years....talk about a unicorn! they made even less of those than they did coupes. At the time sub-6 second 0-60 times were pretty rare....that car did like 5.6 seconds. Never liked the hydraulic clutch - it got wonky with weather

Even Tavarish isn’t gutsy enough to take this pig on.

I wouldn’t give 19 HUNDRED for that turd, let alone 19 grand.....you all gotta be high.  Anyone seen Tavarish lately?

Nissan Maxima would beg to differ - 4DSC FTW

That really, really, is ugly.  And there is no such thing as a ‘good ones’ mixed with anything called Saab anyway.

that would be a no-go for me....have to open the garage door to get to the other side while you’re working on it :) ....or just leave one of the doors off, I guess, and make it a proper shitmobile.

my number one rule of Project Cars is that it HAS to fit in my garage, hence why I don’t own nice old pickups with Patina, or a 68 Lincoln suicide door conti.

Tempo is now, and was then, utter garbage.

any of those except the Tempo is a winner.  Avoid that like the plague - the LTD is by far your best choice, and should serve you well - far better than the garbage you typically own...Hell, I’d buy that LTD myself and daily the crap out of it.

Lyft=Uber just like tissue=Kleenex

You hit the nail on the head there, man

I don’t think full timers are even close to the majority of drivers...got any statistics?

  most maintenance in the first 100K miles only benefits the second owner....bad use of cash.

neither TNP allows that much on-network time.  Most cities have even stricter rules.  There is PLENTY of time to get your car serviced.

Lyft is as shady as Uber is - I started with Lyft, drove both, and quit Lyft first.  I don’t understand at all why Lyft gets the pass, other than being the smaller potato.

surge doesn’t work like that anymore - at least in Chicago. It did (past tense)

add to that - don’t buy an orphan car - one for which there are no easily available parts - unless you got a LOT of time/money/space/masochism.  Cars with a good aftermarket for spares are FAR more fun projects.

most cabbies are 1099's too.  the only people getting hurt on that side are the owners of the medallions who are fleecing their drivers too.

I think you just realized the root of the problem....altruistic people hollering about justice are cheap asses just like rich people, and don’t want to give away their money to someone else...they just want to give away someone else’s money.

to people who would NEVER have qualified for said loan....
