This is the right answer to the guy’s question - I’ve done 6 of these, and 1: Had Fun and 2: Made Profit on every single one. There are no real ‘nightmares’ lurking in a Panther. Also - Mustang seats bolt in really easily - major plus. The shopping list above will result in a hella badass car. Toss in a decent

or a Prelude....same concept

except that you end up with a civic when you’re done....

yeah, but those dudes sell me their dicked up projects with wayyy too much money sunk in for dirt cheap.....don’t discourage them :)

Yes, if you’ve got the space in the shop - but these things don’t fit in suburban garages with any space left to work. A real consideration w/r/t the enjoyment of a wrenching project.

Nope - SN95 - cheaper, better in every possible way. Fox bodies are expensive to buy, and when you’re done, it’s still a rattly piece of crap. A brutal, visceral, raw, noisy, smelly, poor handling, not very fast, can’t corner for shit, but can melt tires and look cool all day long piece of crap that gets ‘meh’

my time is money - it’s not free

maybe 1 in 10 riders compensate drivers who return stuff.....9/10 are entitled chumps

$15 isn’t enough to cover the time/gas/missed fares on most returned ‘lost’ items. I’ll keep chucking your crap out the window, or keeping it for myself. Be responsible, Riders. Your failure to manage your crap isn’t the Driver’s problem

that already exists essentially- standard procedure

Smokes.....let’s go....

ooooohhh.....you got a fat ass.....at least it’s not a Sebring - NP on a meh car

and that’s why the passengers will shun that for the most part - it would be a serious degradation of the experience from current model. Ordering an uber is like cracker-jack - part of the fun is the hidden surprise of what car am I gonna ride in this time? People love my Lincoln.

you’d need 3-4x the cars to do that. a busy saturday / friday / thirsty-thursday is back to back rides for as many drivers as there are in Chicago. you gotta log off to take a piss. This is where this automated car stuff dies...uber passengers are filthy animals

you’ve obviously never been an uber driver :)

see above my post - just “sorted” a really good one for a buddy who needs to sell it after all that hard work and $.

he’s smokin that ol dirty foot hash again

I did - for many many years - which is why I would have used that very leverage when this witch hunt started hitting the fan if I were running Takata at the time. It’s the ONLY leverage they ever had...not taking advantage of that leverage is exactly what ruined them to no meaningfully material benefit to society and

that’s just incredibly bad math Joe....run the real numbers! It DOES move the number but it’s not 1% or even close to 1%
