Hey, somebody else liked the Wight fight besides me.

Yeah, but Mance literally offered to make peace if he got through the door, making Stannis the unintentional bad guy instead of the hero.

Was so awesome to see Meera kick skeleton ass after she got punked at Craster's Keep (a master hunter snuck up on by some thugs…) Unsullied I was watching with asked why she was even in the story since she never talked or fought.

It wouldn't be a monumental event unless Tyrion meets Jamie, which we don't know at this point. I'd say it would only be worth revealing at this point if the brothers are reuniting. I suspect the writers will just ditch the whole thing; if they wanted to use it, they would have done so.

Considering anything less than an A to be insulting seems to be a thing on the internet. A B+ is a fine great and suggests that Todd enjoyed the season, but found significant problems. He discussed the problems because it wouldn't be interesting or informative to praise all the same things everyone else has been

I could see Peter Dinklage pulling it off in a darkly ironic manner. Like a forced, half-hearted joke made out of habit, a twisted, defeated shadow of Tyrion's usual humor about life. It could also work coming from another character next season (sounds like something Bronn would say after hearing about what happened).

Imagine Lena Heady actually did just make a stone heart that she was proud of and was never trying to troll us at all. Likelihood?

Hopefully they can shoehorn in "wherever whore's go" while they're at it.

Whoa! Just thought of something: Varys and Jorah meeting! Bound to awkward considering their relationship. I so hope to see a bear/lion/spider road trip with the bear and the spider bickering comedically the whole time.

D&D are great at fleshing out scenes/characters from the books by expanding what's already there and illuminating the subtext. When they make up new plots and characters, the results are lacking (Talisa, Craster's Keep, Gray Worm/Missandei). Now that the show's successful, they can do whatever they want without fear

Yeah, perfect example. Glimpse of Dany in the dessert and then in Qarth/House of the Undying would have been awesome trimmed of the fat. But she was big draw in season one and the Unsullied/new viewers came for dragons & a beautiful actress, so…

Not to mention a certain "cool battle scene" last episode.

Not necessarily; he could die differently in the show because his arc is over and they don't have to cast the actor again.

I don't think it would work seeing as Ilyrio only appeared a couple of times and Unsullied wouldn't remember him. They didn't even bring up Tysha and I suspect the reason for that is because the audience would be confused.

Funny how I watch the show and got the exact opposite impression on some of your points.

I hope Illyrio is in it again since the tale of his longtime friendship with Varys is so great. A great moment in A Dance With Dragons.

My guess is that they killed Jojen because his arc in the books is basically done and it doesn't make sense for HBO to sign the actor for another season if he has no role.

Am I the only one who kind of liked the Cersei/Tywin scene? In general, I've thought the changes this season have been awful, but found this one interesting. It gave Tywin more depth, forcing him to confront the pink elephant in the room of his children's incest. His denial followed by a slight show of emotion felt

Love the Greedo comparison.

At the same time, I think if I only watched the show and hadn't read the books I'd be satisfied. That said, the Unsullied probably don't care as much about Game of Thrones as a work of art and thus don't examine it as closely or assess quality as harshly. On a poll, they'll give episodes they liked 10s and episodes
