The V12 is naturally balanced, it transmits next to no vibration to the rest of the car, even as it revs up. The reason for upgrading to the V12 isn’t always just for more power.

Funny you mention that. Until recently, my wife did not realize that when she noticed me watching the bits with Mike and she noticed me watching the bits with Edd, that I was in fact watching the same show.

IN the very early seasons Mike gave some really good pointers for buying used cars, what to look out for, how to tell if the vehicle had been abused etc. That seemed to go away for more Edd time (good).

I am glad to see that others fast forwarded past Mike. As a trained negotiator, I found Mike’s efforts on that front laughable. I won’t be watching his new show and I am eagerly awaiting whatever the next thing is for Edd.

Except he has done three other car shows besides WD. So I can’t imagine that he wouldn’t fade into obscurity without Edd (even though Edd’s the better personality of WD).

He was the noisy, sleazy, opinionated flesh-balloon. Hope that clears things up.

Didn’t fast forward, but sure as hell turned the volume down on that guy. His enthusiasm was fun and genuine but it got grating when you wanted your fix of calm, reasoned, and effective Edd.
