No cell phones with cameras back then most likely.

Ours did the same thing too. Nothing stopped us from getting to school.
I lived in a valley. Sometimes, on snowy days, the bus driver used to have us crowd in the seats nearest the rear wheels for added weight when the bus was struggling to make it back up the hill.
That and bombing over jumps at 55mph only because that’s as fast as it could go. Better prepare yourself if you sit over that rear axle.
Motherfuckers, I learned how to fly in Kindergarten!
I was free range raised w some geographic limits. Did just fine thank you. My kids were raised in a similar fashion in part bc my wife was raised on a farm. We are happy w the way they are turning out.
SAME. South Georgia bus drivers used to go slamming down dirt roads, fishtailing with water coming into the side door. We all laughed with glee.
We used to do that all the time when I was a kid. I guess since they cant terrorize bathrooms anymore now its bus drivers.
Yep, this is nothing. Our bus driver brought the tail out on a few occasions in snowy Canadian winters. Nothing egregious, just fighting the laws of physics on hilly terrain.
Yeah that always hilarious. We used to ask the bus driver to slam on the brakes when we were kids because we thought it was fun. I’m not even that old either. This was when I was a kid in the 90's.
Times have changed. When I was a kid, I could run around the street with a toy gun (without the orange tip) without fear of getting SWAT called on my ass. I would also run around in my underwear and nobody would call my parents.
The whole world saw Bruce’s outrage on the internet, so the powers that be aren’t taking the fall for her. I’d cover my ass, too.
Yeah this was hardly an unusual occurrence when I was a kid either. Times have changed I guess.
We had a driver that would speed go flying down a dirt road by us. The bus would “wiggle” a little as he called it.
That would make the trip to school more adventurous.
Yup. I get the need for the closure for cars and even trucks, but a bus rides higher on the road and can make it through just fine. Bus driver was just using her vehicle properly. You can bet if she hadn’t then there would be a bunch of assholes bitching about her being too cowardly to drive their kids home too.…
Not sure if serious, but I’m intrigued. Do you read it online before you go look at the car, or do you make the poor salesperson stand/sit there while you peruse it?
Unintuitive? Hell, I didn’t even know mine came with one.
Yeah I actually just addressed that in another comment thread. I used to take people on test drives for my local BMW dealership and people would freak out because it doesn’t feel precisely identical to how older cars did but if you take a half second to realize the motion and tactile feedback is exactly the same,…
Awwww, don’t remind me.
