We can be a bit biased sometimes around here. The area is really union heavy, so there’s actually quite a few 18 to 24yos with REALLY good paying jobs. And lots of extra money. :-)
Even for pricier, more maintenance intensive cars, the youths are still quite into the car scene. Here’s our gender and age demographic chart from EOY2018 for our regional BMW group. (no, we didn’t assume anyone’s gender).
Headline should be “Tyler Hoover just bought the cheapest 1999 Ferrari F355 F1 Spyder in the Country”. There, fixed that for you.
“I love the 2:20 of the Lego Silverado and 27 seconds of other weird things” - No one.
I got one thing to say about the 2020 Sonata, too. Damn.
Fuck this guy.
Isn’t that like the guy who says “I’m not racist, I have a friend who’s a negro.” BTW, I’m a huge Clarkson fan. But yeah, this isn’t much to report on. lol
Wait, so he’s the same as Jeremy Clarkson? lol
If it’s so easy, why isn’t his name on the world record?
Hmmmm. He’s a drifter who ditched the B58 for the 2JZ. I’m just gonna leave this here.........
Definitely not a thing here in Indiana. lol
I don’t think “speed related deaths” are in the method that these folks claim. I think we have a much, much larger issue with Americans thinking they belong in the far left lane, instead of Germany where it’s VERY much stay right except to pass. Instead of citing the drivers who hit people in the left lane traveling…
Damnit MP81. Now you’ve gone and stirred up the people who are stuck in their ways. Way to go. Make the rest of us suffer.
I see this thing all the time. It’s based locally, and usually parked at Southlake Mall in Merrillville, IN.
The better question is, have you owned a car with either the B48 or B58? Or just the ancient N and M series engines?
Yeah, I’ve owned four, and only seen problems listed that existed in either a)$100k+ models, or b) models they made 20 years ago. They’re all old and busted disses on BMWs.
They don’t care about any of us buying it. Most of us are second and third buyers. Focus groups are all old men who will actually buy it first for $60k. That’s why the styling is this.
If you still can’t get by with a Conti DWS06, you definitely need a specific snow tire. Most folks don’t, though.
