If you don’t like the diced celery, but still want that fresh veg crunch, radish is a great alternative with an entirely different flavor.
I love this ad, but I get it. I cannot see it being successful with the average fast food consumer.
Brewery + Montana. Seriously, this must be Bernot in disguise.
Next stuffed shells variant needed:
Keep doing this until the meat is brown—not tan, brown.
When I was a swimmer in high school and college, I would have shrugged at the idea of eating two of those. 1000 kCal each? I was putting down 10,000+ those days and losing weight. Now that I’m in my 40s, maybe my wife and I could split one. Because I *really* want in on that fried cheese game, but I’m pretty sure I…
Gotta make sure your set of measuring spoons goes all the way down to 1/8t, so you have something to measure the cayenne when you want to make a spicy batch of chili.
My morbid curiosity would certainly get the better of me if I was actually able to purchase those cadbury creme egg flavored ones.
Saw the headline, and came here to comment that this would actually be the best time to support an Aussie business and the Australian economy. Read the article and saw that the business owners already had that take. Good on them. I would even go one step further and let their customers know that they will feature…
I pan wilt/braise the leaves just like I would spinach. I have never used the stems for anything. It’s a little bit of work to stem the leaves, but when you have a nice head of leaves on that bunch of beets from the farmers market, how can you not take advantage of that bonus veg?
These paddlespoons are not his tool, but they’re *my* tool. I got one with a wok I purchased, and liked the utensil better than the wok. I was so happy when I was able to find a 3-pack of similar ones at the Asian grocery so that I wouldn’t feel like I had to baby the “free” one and pray it would last forever. I…
First order is all yours. And the second.
I can’t blame you. The building looks about as sketchy as can be. But man, those baked goods...
I had not heard about a fire there. There was a fire at a similar pavilion on Bde Maka Ska that closed Lola’s, though. Are you mixing those up, or am I clueless about this?
Scanned the list to find who they chose to represent Minnesota, and it ended up being a poke shop in Eagan? That... that’s just weird. First, a place in the ‘burbs, not Minneapolis? (or even St Paul?) Second, a poke shop, not someplace that serves something a wee bit more locally beloved? Look, I’m sure it’s good,…
I see those faux-meat balls in the opening photo, and I have to think: how can we get some of those to Claire so she can see how they cook in a waffle iron. I’m sure it has nothing to do with having just finished reading her article on cooking SPAM in a waffle maker. Nope.
I’ve pretty seriously wanted one of these for real for quite some time. Now I see some excellent justification. Dare I ask how hard it is to clean? (especially after seeing what that Twinkie did)
Beirut is absolutely one of the best restaurants in the entire Twin Cities - in large part because of their toum. We also purchase tubs of it to bring home often. Allison, if you’re ever in the St. Paul area, please visit our beloved garlic sauce purveyor, and let us know how it compares to the toum you learned to…
I can’t wait until I have an opportunity to make breakfast for a large group, so I can give that Garth Brooks casserole a go. It sounds so dang good.
