I just watched the original video you linked to. This looks so, so much better. I’m going to start looking for an excuse to make it now.

Other pork is definitely my favorite food group.
Robicelli killed on this one. I don’t visit vending machines, so I have to go a bit out of context on this one. Sun Chips and Snyder’s are two of my favorite things, both of which I do buy at the grocery store regularly. Combos at a gas station to munch on while driving are something that make me look forward to road…
I have seen the How It’s Made episode on soy sauce, and what they were doing looked quite artisinal, so it’s been here in the west for a while already. More in the $15 a bottle level of artisinal than $85 a bottle, though. And I thought that was excessive.
Do they have a Fogo de Chão in your area? That is where I got to try this. A $60 steak dinner is a bit much to pay for a can of pop, but if you want an excuse to go get the meat sweats, this could be one.
I thought the same thing, except asparagus is what came to mind for me.
United Noodles (One of the best Asian groceries in the Twin Cities) has an enormous section of instant noodles, but they’re all sold by the case. What I really wish for is for them to tear open a couple dozen of those and mix them into variety packs so I can try a whole bunch of them.
Or buy a carton of turkey stock as your base, and infuse it with other, more exciting bones.
I put yellow mustard on my PB and salami. I started out using the cheapest of cheap cotto salami when I was young and poor, but now I prefer hard salami or summer sausage. Also, no fancier mustard works that I have tried - it’s gotta be plain yellow (preferably Plochmans).
Potstickers and Beef and broccoli FTW. Allison gets my vote *yet again*.
I knew the odds on me being the first to comment on this were extremely low.
Just looked into Whataburger locations. Looks like I should have approximately the same interest in what they are serving as I should In-N-Out. Feh. At least there’s a Popeye’s within a 20 minute drive. When are they going to make their new chicken sandwich into a breakfast biscuit sandwich?
This. What this article needed in order to be complete was to finish the recipe. What does it need to bring it to now, without losing its origins? Parsley? Chives? Red bell pepper? Capers? Shrimpy-er stock? I don’t think horseradish or sriracha, as those would be a danger to overpower the shrimp.
The Twin Cities metro area in Minnesota is possibly the best place in the world to get into disc golf. Tons of courses, and thousands of experienced players who’re happy to show new players the ropes. It’s popular here to the point that there are so many leagues that if you want to play on a 15 degree day in February…
Speaking of alternative packaging that makes sense...
Allison has already been here long enough that I can see a headline and the associated photo, and think, “That’s a Robicelli article”, and be right.
Allison, you’re wonderful, and wings and onion dip were almost enough to overcome the choice of mozz sticks over cheese curds. But not enough.
I’ve long been a proponent of a 17 game season, and here is why that is relevant to this article:
When I saw this article with the word “spiked” in the title, I was actually expecting it to take an even more clueless turn than it did. As in, she was going to claim that the LN was somehow responsible for getting her intoxicated.
I see that final “two trucks” image, and I cannot help but imagine the little red one driving around inside of the giant dump truck’s tire like it’s a hamster wheel.
