The Smash competitive community is so fucking bizarre to me.

Eh, I prefer minimalism when it comes to controller designs. Putting pictures on a controller usually looks really gaudy. This is perfect for me. The Smash logo and white grips make it look really classy to me.

Video games do pose a tremendous hazard to our nation’s children. Even now, as a 40-year old man, I still find myself jumping on turtles, eating wild mushrooms, and climbing down random sewer pipes.

The issue with Detroid: Become Human is that Nier Automata already came out.

Wow, you missed the entire point of this game and why it works. This is a game that tells 8 full stories, but allows you to play as many of them as you’d like in one playthrough, for roleplaying purposes.

It’s “The Last of Us.” They killed Joel’s tween daughter in the first 20 minutes of the first one. It’s a cruel world, and that cruelty is an ingredient in character development. 

“Happy” is the death of drama for genre fiction. The fight for inclusion for all historically marginalized groups shouldn’t result in happy endings. Boring stories are happy.

The first time I fought Moggle Mog, all I could hear was, “This is Halloween!  This is Halloween!”

So, the obvious hate speech aside, are you against the presence of shitposting in Splatoon 2/in favor of Nintendo removing low quality posts? Given Gita’s avowed history as a shitposter (see multiple episodes of Fave This), I had been under the impression that Kotaku was pro-shitposting, or at least not…

I give them points for creativity, but it’s like putting truffle fries on top of coldstone ice cream...like...why this waste of time?

I already have this pre-ordered along with the Off the Hook amiibo Collection. I’ve become a huge fan of this game. The art style is seriously one of the best I’ve ever seen.

I don’t get paid to play video games, so I have trouble finding the silver lining on this cloud too.
