Eh, as much as I enjoyed Macfarland, USA, I don’t think Caro is the right person to direct this. I’m excited about the cast, but if we get to redo Mulan, why not try a hand at a hollywood version of a wuxia film?

Well, personally I just think they need to make more solid movies. I’m hoping Aquaman and Shazam turn out well (mostly due to my respect for James Wan and love of Zachary Levi) but the Marvel films mostly worked well due to them simply being strong genre films.
Calling it:
Agh! I think DC is getting ahead of themselves a little. Most people are more interested in a Batgirl film, so I’m not sure why they would hinge Batgirl with Birds of Prey. But hey. I’m one of those people who thinks they should radically start over so maybe nothing will win me over.
Maybe a dumb opinion, but I personally thought “American Animals” was really really good, if only for the gimmick of the perfectly melded documentary meets heist film style.
