If it belongs to the telco, then you're paying to lease it and they will actually fix or replace it if you F it up. Of course, a lot of ISP's lock out the advanced settings with Jank custom firmware.

What a terrible diesel engine, there were naturally aspirated inline-6 GAS engines in the 90's that made that much torque.

My new base Raptor in 2012 cost less than a similarly equipped F150 4x4 Lariat with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine. It was only a few grand more than one with the 6.2L.

BF Goodrich AT's are relatively soft and aren't bad in the snow, but they tend to be on the pricy side. I hear that Goodyear Duratecs are also awesome in the snow with decent AT capabilities and wear.

Yeah, assuming he was hitting jumps at 40mph on an MX track, or hitting 1ft kickers at 100 MPH in the dessert. If you don't thrash it like the 50k daily-driver friendly trophy truck that it isn't, those things don't happen.

This is hilarious, as my gf's family came over from the UK in the 80's and the first vehicles they owned were a G-Body Cutlass and a Caprice wagon, both barely tolerated by her father. Then, they had an Intrepid that regularly overheated and suffered catastrophic transmission failure, all before it hit like 150,000mi.

ALWAYS replace the flywheel. Replacements are relatively cheap (on normal vehicles anyways) and you do not want to be spending hours tearing the entire thing back down because you saved $100 and it turned out that some inept newb was running the lathe at the shop that day.

I was wondering why you couldn't see the beams. So is it because it's pulsing too fast to see, or because it operates above visible wavelengths? Also kinda disappointed that it doesn't make PEW-PEW-PEW noises.

I would say the majority of turbos on well maintained vehicles in general, outlast all other major components on the engine. Just because its turbocharged doesn't mean the turbo(s) is(are) inevitably going out soon, unless there's some inherent design flaw in that particular implementation. Reference: Every modern

Good way to lose a limb, you're basically saddled with a rolling WaterJet system between your legs.

Air cooled 2-stroke with no power valves and no expansion chambered exhaust: The 1950's called and they want their 2-stroke back.

I did this seamlessly with an Upek Eikon USB fingerprint reader for years, from 10.5 on until Apple bought them out about the time 10.8 came along. They broke support for the device in 10.9 and discontinued all Mac OS support for it. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5416620…

While I will agree that the metric system is a far superior way to notate measurement, this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Sounds like you don't know what a fraction or a decimal is, or your sarcasm went right over my head. Hopefully the latter.

When the market tanks, hopefully you're in the position to buy even more shares low and recover nicely when the market swings back up. It's not all doom and gloom, unless you're about to retire when it happens like some of our parents are. Then again, if you're about to retire, you shouldn't be in a position to have

I don't currently put 15% into mine, but I'm 33 and have almost twice my annual salary stashed in my 401K. I honestly haven't looked at it much and only made a few changes over the years, so I guess I'm doing pretty well so far. I started early making max contributions with aggressive investments, working full time

NBD really, I have a Parrot Bluetooth system that plugged in as a shim to the factory harness on my '04 Jetta. Brings all the hands free smartphone capabilities to that 11 year-old Monsoon Audio system via Bluetooth, apple dock, USB, or 3.5 mini plug aux input. It utilizes the factory aux input on the receiver that

Wonder if this will break most of my Plugins? Haven't Googled it yet, too lazy...

Voila: a car with a factory warranty instantly voided. That's fine if you have the time and know how to work on it, but most people cross shopping these vehicles are looking for a reliable, worry free daily driver.
