It was only -10F in SE Indiana on Monday morning, my 04 Jetta TDI spent the night outside, it started right up, but it was EXTRA grumpy, smoky and clattery for a good 45 seconds or so. It hasn't been starting as smoothly below 20F since I had the glowplug recall done on it, I wanted to make sure it would actually

While it does snow every year here in the Greater Cincinnati area, the winter of 2012 was completely absent of any snow accumulation besides maybe 2 or 3 dustings. Why such a mild winter? Well that was the year I bought a Ford Raptor. This winter has been pretty fun though.

They're British, but still, I don't think that would've been much different.

My girlfriend has an Uncle named "Richard Head".

My vote is for the Jeep Wrangler, I had a TJ with the 4.0 and used to have a blast hooning around in the snow. Fast forward several years later and I have a Raptor now, but it doesn't even come close (on road) to the Wrangler in the snow. The light weight, distribution and power to weight ratio made the TJ far more

Yes, I'm sure 4wd lifted trucks were getting stuck everywhere while a lil Liberty just toils along unaffected. I guess everyone else just blasted their trucks into snow banks and unwittingly became high centered.

Just to reinforce that I'm not exaggerating...

Oh and the sound of a 6.2 with an intake and exhaust is absolutely the tits compared to the EB.

I get 13-16MPG in a 6.2 Raptor all year long and 411HP 434lb-ft ain't bad compared to its competiton. It's design is rather primitive, but proven and reliable technology. Is it due for upgrade or replacement, yeah, but these engines will most likely hold up very well long term. Direct gasoline injection is relatively

Oh, automatic climate control with infinitely variable fan speed, fancy... till it breaks!

So does the heater when the vehicle is running.

ANIMANIACS!!! That mime skit they did on Animaniacs used to crack me up! Off to youtube to find some...

Was it Hypercolor?

As an owner of a car with a slightly more recent VGT, I would say it isn't exactly zero turbo lag, but it is less lag.

I got a new base (besides "accented interior" option) 2012 Raptor for 43k. You can find them (used) for well under 45k if you're willing to opt for a Supercab instead of Crew. I've seen other guys online getting them for around 35k brand new, back in 2012 anyways. When I was shopping for used ones, I saw 2012's

BRAAAAAAP!!!!

Ugh, GM Pod receivers were the WORST! Back when electronics seemed to be bulletproof, these things somehow managed to suck completely and fail left and right.

The soft tops on the CJ's and YJ's weren't nearly as refined without some aftermarket addons. Full hard-top doors helped make it a better daily driver as well.

Seriously, a 2wd motorcycle?
