The main allure to me was actually the very creative characters and the collecting physical toys. I have never had collector tendencies before or after Skylanders. I didn’t care about Disney infinity or amiibos. I can’t explain it. I LOVED the characters. Every year new creatures would arrive and every year they were

I’m just happy to see my old friends the Skylanders doing ANYTHING. I would love to see a new game one day that benefits from our toy collection but doesn’t require it.

Yep. Valid point. I was pretty prepared to get attacked for speaking up against the “waste of time" crew. I avoid posting just about anything just because of that fact.

I totally see where you’re coming from. Maybe it’s more of a crossover vibe? Seeing one property in another? I built my real house in minecraft it was pretty cool I guess.

It’s a minifigure and one “gadget”. Each gadget is a miniature/simplified version of its real life thing that can be built three separate ways to do different things. So this is just a simple dalek. Plus they need to be simple designs because the game requires you to build as you go. A complex set would kill the game

This is exactly what I was thinking as I saw and read this article. Loved that game. The crazy stuff I made. Maybe....I should reinstall that....

I've had a pretty great time building towns and castles in minecraft. Mostly because I can't do it in real life. Also, I don't work for rockstar. So building something like this in minecraft might be the closest I'll get. Plus, some people actually get paid TO build weird things like this in minecraft.

This comment section took quite a turn. On a website dedicated to reading about stuff we like, basically none of it vital to our survival, who would have thought the group would attack its usefulness? Then turn towards the pedantic silliness of debating what is or isn’t a waste of time?

It definitely is the same thing. It's also being sold separately at GameStop and everywhere else soon.

I’m so happy to read this article. As an adult gamer who collects Skylanders, thanks for it. I tried infinity but got bored with the segregated levels, purchased every amiibo just go “catch ‘em all” and then realize they had little purpose, now I’m about to start dimensions. But Skylanders always draws me back in. I

As the official biggest fan of puns, I truly enjoyed your post. Clever and funny. Well done.

Yes. Never ending quests drive me coo-coo bananas. However, if you do everything Preston says for a while (complete all the missions before returning each time) there will come a time where he will say, “that’s all for now”.

I stocked these myself at work yesterday. All the while murmuring my anger for the many dollars lost in October. I could have sworn they said these characters would never be released alone.

I am a huge Lego fan. But with life and kids I am stuck primarily watching from the sidelines as a toys r us employee. Once my son is old enough to care, I’ll get back in to them.

Please forward this to the gentleman above.

Number is on the box. But every store policy dictates that WE OPEN THE BOX and verify the number matches. They can track who returned the serial number and the ID used to return it. So I hope they figure out the dick and his balls involved.

I am the front of house supervisor for toys r us and I would say the best advice is the rewards card. Even if you “don’t shop here enough” to get a reward, our card tracks for years. Seriously. Plus the debit or credit card can be tracked at most places too. So don’t take no. But know the options to find your

I also have three xboxes. The kids and wife watch while I’m at work all of the time. So I think the collective time is both. Simply time spent with the console on. Do you have other people who watch tv logged in as you?

Please let us know if quantities and limits per guest ever get announced. As well as date and time.
