I was a sheltered 18 yr. old growing up in the middle of nowhere. “Fantastic” is generous of you;)

Oh god. If you can admit it, I will too. My first vote, going away to college - liberal arts major and “well Reagan WAS an actor!”
Thanks for the info. and the link. I appreciate when someone tells me I’ve said something confusing (my Tone). I’d be considered an Old on Jez. I don’t Facebook, I have an old pay-as-you-go cellphone, I don’t text or really take advantage of all the widgets out there.
Well, then it’s an inside joke to everyone - since everyone else must know about this but me - which simply makes me pathetic. And it’s not as inside joke if the ‘majority’ is on the inside. That’s the best my brain can do today, anyway. But now that you’ve clued me in, I have to learn more about Grim Fandango. Thanks!
This guy was trolling HARD yesterday over some nonsense. Check his post history. It’s full of “fuck offs.”
Yes. There will be many versions of “fuck.” And, if we’re lucky, delightful amputations.
Haha! She doesn’t realize how close she came to an ER visit for a bite or scratch. Bob be think’in “WE are not pleased by yon uninvited hand-mauling.”
Not the only one. I still say it that way in my thoughts.
I’m guessing he’s something of an inside joke (but I’m an outdoor kind of kitty). No matter, that IS some swanky guy!
The entire clan should have dressed as glamorous cat burglars for Halloween. But it seems as though they have yet to master the simplest forms of humor.
Careful, you might get KB riled up. You will be told that you are a “grown-ass” adult and that you need to “grow and learn”........how to be a grown-ass, patient adult.
I didn’t hear any Irish or Aussie. More like an attempt as several European accents at once. And bad Spanish.
As far back as the ‘70's you could buy prescription glasses called “photo-grey.” Clear while indoors, but after stepping outside the lenses turned very dark. Did those go away?.
Hey thanks for ‘Santa Clausing’ me. All this time I’ve been walking around in my Solar shields and people could actually see me? Guess I’ll have to ditch my grey leggings and shirt too (basic Urban Camouflage). So, I’m guessing Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak is a children’s story too :/
Ahh. Mr. Bone. I still don’t know why I ignored every single piece about him. And after tootling around the web, I still don’t know who he supports. He seems laid back and charming. But I really like his easygoing attitude about “I’m undecided. Chill. Don’t make it weird, OK?”
I’m sighing for the days American had some ‘etiquette’ like this (the respectful kind). And the traditional Calaveras are one of my favorite customs too.
This premiered maybe four years ago on So You Think You Can Dance (I believe.). I was so disappointed by the constantly repeated lyrics and the boring production values that I turned my back on Gaga for a while. Then Artpop, and I was back on board again.
Ah, thanks. I didn’t see the Undecided Voter. And I also absolutely ‘don’t get’ the UV costume. Again I could put those bits together for 20 bucks, but the stash and glass are drawing a blank. Is it a Groucho Marx in-joke?
IDK. When I was in England, the population at large was utterly fascinated with cowboys and Indians, as well as country and folk music. The ones I met were NOT having fun at anther race’s expense. Even if they were ‘playing pretend’ they truly wanted to explore what it meant to inhabit these roles (even if done so…
