I never watched a single ‘comedy’ show during that era (OK, not any era), but I just watched a few clips, and given the never -ending canned laughter, I would have to say “NO”. And he still dresses badly.

It’s more than obvious that you respect the Arts and Sciences, culture, etc.; but yes, the atmosphere is getting thick with all of the ‘hot air’.
