I enjoyed the novel and film adaptation of The Manchurian Candidate. I never thought the live version would be so tacky.

It’s always been a dream of mine to make my elaborately over-the-top Xmas decorations tax deductible.

It is annoying how Amazon will keep suggesting stuff from the same category you were recently shopping in. A month ago I looked at a bunch of flashlights and then ordered one. Now I no longer need to buy one because duh, I just bought one but Amazon continues to suggest that I might enjoy additional flashlights.
To be fair to Kim, when you’ve got young kids it’s sometimes hard to tell if a partner is having a mental breakdown or is just leaning into the general chaos.
You know what else helps? People getting off of their butts and voting.
Playing fair makes us liberal/progressive. Abandon that and we have nothing.

Every day I see people on Bernie’s Facebook wailing about how it’s no surprise that Crooked Hillary lost to Trump; how our Lord and Savior Bernie Sanders could’ve done so much better, etc.
Remember all the good PR Hillary had before that email bullshit? People loved her! Then when the possibility of her becoming president became more real, everyone got way more critical of everything she’s ever done. There’s no guarantee that if it had been Bernie or Joe the same thing wouldn’t have happened.
I do have to LOL/headdesk/cry at the people who are like, “We could have had Bernie or Joeeeeee!!!”
I’ll admit that, in these complicated times, I sometimes look back fondly on my days as a warboy, roaming the wasteland of our collapsed society...things were simpler then, you know?
Well, 2016 did get a few things right: Antonin Scalia, Nancy Reagan, Phyllis Schlafly, and the Chick tracts maniac.
