Do you even realize that all the performance or computer news on Kotaku are not handled by Kotaku ? It’s always from “techspot.com”.

I kind of dislike those contests: it’s using the work of an artist for promotion while giving them zero money for it and saying “but you’ll get exposure”.

But it’s really funny to me because I had almost never heard of Shenmue before ^^
I understand they were great games, but it seems to me like Citizen Kane, it is great indeed, but nothing that I haven’t seen since.

Well it’s begun, people trying to make me play those games...

Generally when I say this, people try to force me to play the “classic” FF... But I’m really not interested.

Unpopular opinion:

Does anybody know what engine they’re using ? For Dishonored they were using Unreal Engine 3, it wouldn’t surprise me if they’d use Unreal 4, but it wouldn’t surprise me either if they’d changed.

There are some combo of powers/gadjets that I never thought of in there wow... And I played that game 200 hours... Pushing a grenade with the whirlwind...

An 3d engine is so complex I doubt a few tweaks can fix years of decrepitude... Hope, hope never changes.

One accuses me of being bias against Microsoft, the other accuses of the same against Apple, I dunno what to say, but I think that puts me in the middle.

I just think, as most people do, that the Surface is a bad laptop and even worse tablet. It doesn’t come with a keyboard by default, so adios taking lectures with it, the Windows Store (it it called that? I’m still on 7 on both my laptop and desktop) is still full of fakes VLCs last I checked.

It’s the same Creation engine heavily updated, I don’t really think they changed much the scripting system... Well one can hope.

Yes, script extenders were the first things to come to mind, and obviously many of the greatest mods require them, which leaves “only” aesthetics mods, stuff like armor, textures, models. Can be fun on their own but nothing that is in my “essential” mods in those categories...
