I mean, I too hope that their suit succeeds.
I mean, I too hope that their suit succeeds.
(fwiw, that’s the first thing I thought, too.)
Good god, THIS. It’s partly a function of the fact that in places that don’t normally get extreme cold, people don’t own winter gear needed to deal with it safely. Kentuckians don’t own the kind of gear that people in Minnesota own, for obvious reasons. And then add in the fact that POOR CHILDREN may not have…
I actually wanted the Rose Lemonade to be a bit MORE rose, but I liked it. For me, though, the winner is the Dandelion & Burdock. I find its taste odd and kind of earthy, and it’s hard to explain why I like it, but it’s somehow really compelling.
Saw that in the THEATER.
(Not to mention -- in retrospect, after Winter Soldier, how many of those guys were actually Hydra?)
I think I just read a headline that they’re actually doing this? Maybe not as “hosts” but for something?
Decoration. I have to assume. For my own peace of mind.
It’s not something that can be cured by policy... but if we had policies that addressed and tried to mitigate climate change, it might address some of the underlying issues that contributed. Unfortunately, that’s not a quick fix. (Even if new policies were adopted tomorrow — and they absolutely won’t be, by this…
25,000 executive/managerial jobs???? Twenty-five THOUSAND?
(I gently disbelieve that most of those 25,000 are going to be able to afford to live anywhere near the new Amazon sites. But who knows.)
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Hmm. Hmm. Grew up just outside west Philly, but my family always had it. Now I wonder if it’s because we picked up down the shore, and thus knew it existed. (When I was 5, my 15 year old brother had a job as a short-order cook on LBI. It was a treat to go in and have him make me a pork-roll on a kaiser roll.)
Maybe. ;-) Especially when I tell you that my name is also Holly.
AND VOTE.
Okay, I laughed, and here’s your star.
While this guy is an asshole and a rapist, let that be clear — I’ve never found this point to be all that weird. I didn’t really keep a calendar like that. But I do have a bunch of notebooks from high school and probably earlier, still sitting in boxes that I’ve kept through several moves. I’m really not even sure…
Same. I’m 50, female, and use both “dude” and “guys” as gender-neutral. (Though, I’d like to think I can also read a room.)
But the thing is, we have tons of film of them claiming things, doing things, and promising things, and yet when push comes to shove, nobody (in power who can do anything) ever ACTUALLY uses that evidence against them. I’m wearily resigned to the idea that they WILL make accusations against a Democratic nominee for…
Well, and also: right, because Neil Gorsuch’s appointment process was exactly as beset by allegations. /s
