I also want Jack Black to retire soon.

I’m a good tipper too, but this advice is egregious. I think leaving a twenty would be the high end of reasonable for a single pour (even some expensive top shelf scotch) unless it came with some other tangible “experience”.

“ i didn’t even fully buy into the popularity of the original”

“Can you imagine if he hadnt been fucked over?”

Maybe he wouldn’t have done that execrable HP Lovecraft fish porn.

Puff Pastry is like fresh pasta. It is really good when you make it at home, but the stuff you can buy if you live in even a small city is 95% as good and takes 5% of the work.

How turn your 37,000 into 15,000 in two years....what a great idea!!!!!

Based on my observation and experience, take-out food is placed in a box rather than on a plate by the kitchen staff (not really much more work, if any) and the boxes are bagged by FOH staff (either servers or cashier) - which is a one-time effort as opposed to repeated visits to a sit-down table.

That’s exactly how I feel too. I probably know 10 FF songs, because those are the ones I hear on the radio, even then, i’ll let it play through. If I hear a RHCP song, I change it immediately.

There was a brief period of time after he left where I thought it was getting less insane about the tipping. Then I realized it was only because none of the questions being answered at the time were about tips.

I kind of expected salty articles to get a little better (meaning less crazy in my unsolicited and uneducated opinion, which I know is not an objective metric) when pang left. not that pang was a bad writer, just that his takes were always so weird and disagreeable to me. evidently, we’re still tipping restaurants

Let’s call this a catering order instead of plain old delivery.

“how much should I tip?” and you’re asking Salty?

This is the salty waitress. Any question about tipping is always answered self-servingly and disingenuously here. Which is weird because at this point everyone knows that there is no real waitress and that whatever person on the G/M staff is ghost writing it probably hasn’t waited a table in 10 or 15 years. I guess

No shit.

wait, the answer is to tip just because you can? and not for services rendered? what?

Dad rock is just popular music that everyone and their dad listens to. I don’t see why this would be a problem. It honestly makes perfect sense. Throw in RHCP too.

Agreed—he doesn’t deserve to have his life ruined just because he made a long, boring movie

Oh I’m not disputing that there are awful Star Wars fans out there, and that misogyny and racism weren’t a part of the vocal and toxic criticism of TLJ. I was addressing the virtually total denial on Johnson’s(and Kennedy’s) part that fans had legitimate criticisms of TLJ and the active shutting down of those fan

Um... I didn’t like his SW movie. It had nothing to do with any of the actors. I feel no anger about the film. I just didn’t like it.

“95 percent” of the people he interacts with online are “lovely and thoughtful and engaged” even when they don’t like his work.
