It’s a scare tactic. As some of the writers pointed out, they’re already broke. Continuing to be broke is nothing new to them.

Even before the SAG strike, there were talks of pushing the Emmys back to January since so many actors are in solidarity with the writers.
Is he played by Jason Momoa?
That’s the problem with the very rich. They have zero concept of “enough”. It creates great things at first, but destroys everything eventually.
It’s like video games with season passes. They’re really fun at first, but as time goes on, you find yourself not playing to enjoy it, but just to keep up. I think that’s what people mean by superhero fatigue. They’re still going to watch the movies and shows because they’ve already invested so much time into it, but…
As good as Glover is in the show, it’s really a showcase for Brian Tyree Henry and LaKeith Stanfield.
The closest show I can compare Rez Dogs to is Atlanta. Both are willing to take surrealist flights of fancy, both have a similar vibe while still being very different shows, and both have an absolutely stellar principal cast. If you like one, the other is well worth checking out.
Perhaps he was too unrecognizable without his mo-cap suit.
J Smith-Cameron winning would make zero sense. As much as I love her character, she was barely a blip in the final season.
Snook completely slipped my mind. Yeah, I couldn’t even be mad if she won--she’s just as deserving.
Once again, Reservation Dogs is criminally ignored. One lousy nomination for sound editing? Devery Jacobs deserved a writing nomination for “Mable”, arguably the best episode of any show in the last year.
It’s a pretty loaded category this year. She could win, but only if the entire cast of The White Lotus cannibalize each other’s votes.
Top Chef is a great show mostly because, unlike most reality shows (competition or otherwise), it’s not trashy. The contestants all want to see each other succeed and they’re constantly helping each other even though it does nothing for their own game. The worst part about Top Chef is the occasional sponsored…
Padma’s always better unscripted. When she’s reading lines, it comes off as stiff, like when she introduces a challenge or how she narrates her show Taste the Nation. When she’s just chatting with people, she comes across as a lot more relaxed and genuine.
When Padma left, Kish seemed like the obvious choice to me. Glad to see that come to fruition. She was one of the most fun contestants to watch and in the years since, she’s built up quite the media resume.
My question is why would you give Robert Rodriguez a budget of $170M? The man is a master at making solid action and sci-fi films for less.
Well, the Great Glass Elevator has nothing to do with chocolate. I’m thinking that doesn’t compute with execs.
At least FFVI addressed the “not everyone can fight at the same time” issue in the final castle by forcing you to create 3 parties.
Nothing will top 6 for me, but 4 is way up there. The biggest difference between the two for me is while both have huge casts (always a plus for me), you never get to choose your party in 4.
I kept hoping for that 3D FFVI along the lines of what they did for FFIV on the DS. I accept it’s not going to happen, but then again, why mess with perfection?
