D’Onofrio did something that, for me, no DD writer has managed so thoroughly - he made Fisk human, charming, sympathetic, and of course a raging violent psychotic.  Serioiusly - there’ve been well-written arcs through the decades that touched on that, but D’Onofrio makes it all work.

D’Onofrio’s portrayal of Fisk is one of the all-time greats. I’ve grown cold on a lot of the MCU Netflix shows, but I’m down for more Daredevil, always. This is hopefully a return to form after last season. The trailer looks good. 

The difference with Reich (and I’m totally making up these numbers) is he traded a 90+% chance of a tie for a 10% chance of a win, 45% chance of a loss, and 45% chance of a tie. Fourth and fours have a less than 50% conversion rate.
