Tonja is paraphrasing in the article. The exact form of the proposed question is: “Is this person a U.S. Citizen?” There are 4 “Yes” answers (3 different “born a citizen” options based on where born, 1 for naturalization which requires year of naturalization) and “No, this person is not a citizen.”

I do believe that this is the most judgmental recipe I’ve ever read.

I completely agree. It fits in with our society’s broad (and pernicious) tendency to downplay very serious crimes as “domestic matters.” As if committing a crime against an intimate partner was somehow less serious than committing a crime against a stranger.

Has this store been shamed enough to close their doors yet? Or does it not work like that in Australia?

Thank you for all your hard work, and for sharing your story with us. Our society benefits greatly from the courage of those who are willing to speak for those who are ignored, misunderstood, belittled, persecuted or disenfranchised. Not this time! A Home Equity Line of Credit should be sufficient.

The very first time I played Torment, I failed to make it through this cutscene alive.

Still a longer multiplayer run than Mass Effect: Andromeda.

To be honest, even I would’ve given that woman hell for that kind of nonsense.

I understand your frustration.

Keep in mind that, while the Xbox One S and PS4 Pro (and many computer GPUs) support HDR, very few games currently take advantage of that support. If the game isn’t specifically coded to output HDR visuals, you’re not going to see much of a difference in picture quality on your HDR TV.

Yes, I know that HDR requires a wide color gamut panel, and it’s physically impossible to display a (real) HDR image on a non-HDR panel.

Yes, running games below the monitor’s standard resolution is often a bad idea, for two reasons:

I’ve never tried it myself, but can you set your consoles and PCs to output in 1080p HDR? It should upscale nicely to 4k without the performance drain of pushing the extra pixels.

Why?
