Yes please

I am so sorry. This world isn’t right yet, but your brave honesty takes us one step closer. <3

This request backfired on me on FB, but I’m going to try to be more clear here. Could Jezebel update their style guide on the usage of the word sodomy? I understand it’s the legal term in Oregon (as was painstakingly explained to me) but it traditionally has been used to describe being gay, so this title (to me) reads

Don’t go if you’re gay and like breathing...

(This piece seems pretty out of touch even with the disclaimers.)

Nothing but love for this list

Reading the explainer from Univision is like reading every single corporate cutback I have ever seen (aka bullshit). All I can say is corporations suck. Capitalism sucks. And until the people rise up and take back some of the power that’s been siphoned from us day after day, nothing will get better.

Zealots absolutely condemn their own gay children. Otherwise, this is perfect.

The Root has some of the best journalists writing some of the best pieces today. I’ve given up on NYT, WaPo, and Salon, and Slate is on thin ice, but I’m still reading the Root on the daily. Special shout out to VSB who are the best of the best.

Apparently, you don’t HAVE to let idiots write opinion pieces to maintain

The clapback mailbag is the highlight of my week. <3

On a side note, I think most transgender people prefer “transgender people” over “transgenders”, but I do appreciate their inclusion.

Thank you for your brave honesty. It’s good to know I’m not alone. <3

It’s a funny article, but no, the penis hangs on top and down the front of the balls, so their lengths don’t add up to something longer. It’s not like they dangle from the tip. I see no problem at all.

That said, if you wanted me to watch that scene again just to be sure, I’m game. ;)

Pasties from the UP. It’s meat, potatoes, and assorted veggies baked into a handheld pie, initially popular for iron ore miners to bring underground for their lunch.

Intersectionality is a very fair point, and I don’t mean to step on his work from a black POV. I totally get that I’m a white man and need to be as sensitive towards him as a black man as I’d like him to be to me as a gay man.

This is all to hash out words on a page that can be interpreted different ways, so there’s

Hmmm, perhaps, although I would suggest that gay men are quite experienced in our understanding of how to “perform” masculinity. I’ve heard it called wearing“wrist braces” where we know when we are not safe and have to exude masculinity to protect ourselves.

Whether his words betray a belief that is problematic, or

I know he didn’t ask anyone their orientation, since he made such a point of that, but I can’t get over the whole concept of “I needed a straight man to pretend he was gay, because that’s easier than a gay man pretending to be masculine.” SMH

The point is it's all bullshit. It's not okay for any of us to tell anyone wtf to wear, and it's even more bullshit when we declare a truth for all members of one gender.

Thank you!
