I’d rather have an Isetta.

It’s a pretty hair shirt, but a hair shirt nonetheless. I don’t need the suffering. No Dice.

The body shell says “BMW” but the innards say “Chevette”.  ND.

Hypocorrectical

They did similar with the 1st gen Mirai. I think the fuel savings along with the car rebate made the Mirai basically free for a 3 year lease. Our vendor was pushing us to get them (a lot of us lived in LA and Anaheim which had fueling stations) but they were so fugly that I couldn’t get myself to do it.

Perspective from a San Francisco resident:

There are zero hydrogen stations in San Francisco now, Shell closed them. The closest one is 7 miles south, if that one is broken or out of fuel (very common) the nearest ones are Oakland (12 miles one way and a $6 toll) or across the Golden Gate bridge in Mill Valley (15

Or, if you are very lucky, the battery cable is corroded under the insulation. Switch it out and you’re good to go.  Volvo starters get a bit picky on the wire connections, so that is another place to look.

There’s also the point that this is significantly more beautiful than a mondial...subjective of course. Looks wise, they’re not even in the same league -- and why else would you buy either?

Looking on BaT I am seeing recent sales of much nicer cars in the mid fifties to low 60s. This one is a little scruffy for the price. I love sixties cars, I love Italian cars, but I have always thought the Fiat Dino coupe looks a little off in its proportions. But personal feelings aside, a Craigslist ad for above

At $50k+ this thing needs to be show room quality for me. As soon as I saw the seats it was clear he’s delusional about getting his money back. They also did the thing where they list 1000 other cars to get more hits, so automatic ND.

Rivian-esque

Are we to assume that this will drive up the value of older Scouts just like what happened to Broncos?

While I like and applaud the idea of a revived Alfa Romeo I’d prefer the GTV6 get reimagined. And that would be easier to do if they used the Giulia platform coupled with the Quadrifoglio’s V6.

Something isn’t sitting right in that front end. Front spring perches look collapsed.

I kind of dig the patina look on old cars. Not something I want happening weeks into owning a new vehicle though.

I will probably get roasted for this, but every time I see “fibromyalgia” I get a bad feeling. I knew some folks that used this to get disability payments since it is very hard to diagnosis (or at least it was). Add to that, I work with two people that are on Military disability with no real known issues and I don’t

Not bad really, We’ve sold every GT we had pretty quickly, but we only option them with cold weather group, because at that point you have cruise, carplay, heated seats and wheel, remote start and we can sell them for about 27,500 plus tax that way.

Orange stain? Sounds like the new “presidential model.”

Maybe a Warlock trim Ram Classic. Being based on the 4th gen, it’s a lot more affordable and maintainable than the current gen.

Don’t forget the 48 HP.
